"William County prosecutors want to take a photo of his erect penis, possibly forcing the teen to become erect by taking him to a hospital and giving him an injection, the teen’s lawyers said. A Prince William County judge allowed the 17-year-old to leave the area without the warrant being served or the pictures being taken — yet."

This goes way beyond sexual assault. If what the newspaper has printed is true, the prosecutors have announced that they are conspiring to manufacture child pornography, a strict liability offense, which means intent doesn't matter. If this were a country where the law is applied equally, they'd be disbarred and brought up on criminal charges.

[–]colovick1 point2 points  (24 children) | Copy Link

I've still never heard a good explanation for doing that... The best I've found is it decreases you chances of prostate cancer, which kills next to no one... And removing skin linked to cancer is a shoddy concept to begin with...

[–]sdflkjeroi3420 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy Link

It's more of a make-it-harder-to-masturbate thing... without a foreskin, you're pretty much fucked without lube.

[–]colovick2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

I've never had that problem strangely enough

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It won't stop boys from masturbating, pretty much nothing will, but it's still a deterrent.

[–]sdflkjeroi342-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you sure you're circumcised? :D

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Plus there's a lot of nerve endings in the skin, not to the same nature as the glans, but you're still cheating someone of a lot of the sensations they'd otherwise experience during sex etc.

[–]Average_Black_Man3 points4 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

I could care less about the sensitivity shit that people always bring up about circumcision, I would do it to myself simply because I think (and lots of others share this opinion) that cut is more attractive looking. That said, I don't think they should do it to babies at birth. that is flat out retarded. I think it should be a choice sometime around adolescence. The jews have it right for once

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I think (and lots of others share this opinion)

Not that I really care, but outside the US and a select few (mostly third world) countries it's viewed as genital mutilation and something quite abhorrent. So while I personally don't care what your dick looks like, the idea of "cut" looking more attractive is something manufactured culturally within the US.

[–]MoreWhiskeyPls2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I was unable to be cut at birth (3 months early.) I've had a lot of sexual partners over the years, never had a negative complaint about it. Though it may have to do with my overall package instead of just being uncut, so my experiences may be skewed.

[–]1Mikesapien2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

If you want a good comparison for "the sensitivity shit that people always bring up," take your index finger and simply brush the back of your other hand. Once you've done that, turn your hand over and feel the palm.

The difference between the back of the hand and the palm - in terms of nerve endings (between 1000 and 1300 per square inch) - is roughly comparable to the difference between circumcised and uncircumcised penis.

[–]1aguy011 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I would do it to myself simply because I think (and lots of others share this opinion) that cut is more attractive looking.

That's a pretty tall pedestal you're putting the pussy on.

[–]Average_Black_Man0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

What? How are my opinions on circumcision pedestalizing pussy?

[–]1aguy013 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

You'd directly sacrifice your pleasure to make a girl like the look of your dick a little more.

[–]colovick0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep, I wasn't going to do it to my son, but he had an issue that needed fixing and the doctor went ahead and did it as part of the surgery because it was a convenient and that's how he'd always done that surgery... Can't exactly undo it now though

[–]ownage99988-1 points0 points  (8 children) | Copy Link

Dude I'd rather not get prostate cancer if that's cool with you

[–]colovick0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

I'd rather not either, but the vast majority of people get it in their late 60's or 70's and it progresses so slowly that you're going to die with the cancer and not from the cancer in many cases... Doctors have even questioned how ethical it is to treat prostate cancer unless you're in the 50 and under crowd...

[–]ownage999880 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Then I'd rather not get prostate cancer when I'm under 50. Getting cancer is not a good or indifferent thing in any way. Anything that can be done to prevent it, must be done.

[–]colovick0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

My original point was that I cannot see the correlation between foreskin and prostate cancer in the first world because the only thing that changes is the secretions that you wash out daily anyways, so it's literally just extra skin...

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy Link

Do you eat meat? Or closely watch your diet at all? Because that has a far far greater risk of prostate cancer than a foreskin.

[–]ownage99988-2 points-1 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

That's not how it works. Eating meat is needed for other reasons and so is watching your diet. There is literally no reason to keep your foreskin and if my chance of getting cancer is reduced by a minuscule amount, it's a good thing.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

There is literally no reason to eat meat other than your own enjoyment, maybe in the past there was, but there are so many options for balanced protein intake now.

How about letting the MAN decide what he wants to do with his own penis when he is old enough to judge all the risks and consequences, colon cancer isn't even risky till like your 30's

[–]Johnny_Shades17 points18 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

disbarred

Great point. Why isn't someone taking this to the bar association? Manufacturing child pornography to prove a charge of child pornography is unethical. The prosecutor should at least have to answer to the bar for his tactics and conduct in this case, regardless of the case's outcome.

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire212 points13 points  (13 children) | Copy Link

I really hope somebody that lives in that state does take it to the bar association.

[–]myhairsreddit23 points24 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

I used to live in Manassas, live an hour away now and still visit friends there often. From what I understand the community in general is extremely pissed about it and have been blowing up phones, e-mails, the bar association, community leaders, officers involved, etc. Everyone is hoping this eventually gets tossed and they decide to actually work on fixing the other vast amounts of problems in the area. It's a seriously messed up place to live. It's one of those towns where you can literally get away with attempted murder, but go to jail for stealing video games. A guy I went to high school with hired a hitman to kill his father and never went to jail. One of my best friends stole video games from a woman's house when he was 13, however, and was in jail until we turned 18. Manassas' judicial system is fucking ridiculous.

[–]weirdnamedindian2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

How the fuck do they even function?!!

[–]myhairsreddit2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Not very well. Most people I know there are some form of drug addicts, mainly into heroine. It used to be a really nice city but it's ridiculous now.

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire21 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

How did the kid who hired the hitman avoid jail? Was his family wealthy? Maybe his father refused to press charges, but I think that the state can choose to press them independently.

[–]myhairsreddit0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not really sure exactly how he avoided it, but I've seen him work at various grocery stores around town since it happened. I know they aren't wealthy though, they lived in the neighborhood across the street from mine.

[–]colovick0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Small towns are notorious for bad legal systems... A judge in a nearby county ran the drug cartel for the region, 3 guys were arrested for breaking into his house and leaving with several kilos of cocaine, yet they were back at work on Monday... The legal system only works if people follow it properly

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire20 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

"A judge in a nearby county ran the drug cartel for the region."

I'm not surprised by this at all. It's a fairly common occurence.

[–]Ace-of-Spades881 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

5 years for stealing video games? What the actual fuck dude?!

[–]myhairsreddit0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. The only reason he got out when he did was for good behavior. He was told he would be in until he was 21. He didn't tell any of us he was getting out and just showed up at school and surprised us the 1st day of 11th grade. It was surreal, I really didn't think I'd ever get to talk to him past the mail until we were in our 20's.

[–]Clbull0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]ButterMyBiscuit31 points32 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

8th amendment: "... nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted"

[–]bh32443 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

you think anybody gives a shit about that piece of paper anymore?

[–]sushisection0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

A lot of people with guns do

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire22 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I think the term "cruel and unusual punishment" was only meant to cover medieval torture devices and associated practices, like the iron maiden, burning people alive, the rack, drawing and quartering, etc., not that the U.S. even adheres to that anymore, given what goes on in the penal system.

[–]Gold_Leaf_Initiative7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it could easily be extended to include being forced to take drugs against your will and then stripped naked and photographed.

[–]tedted88883 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Just like the 2nd amendment only covered muskets, and the first only covered pen quills and parchment paper? Or the 4th only covers your mud brick dwelling?

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire20 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Well you can make an argument that all penal system punishments are cruel and unusual. Detention, solitary confinement, shitty food, surrounded by psychopaths, restraints, beatings if you get out of line. In some European countries, prisons are practically country clubs, in an effort to rehabilitate the prisoners. The US was trying to be progressive relative to what the European aristocracies were capable of.

[–]tedted88881 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I do agree with you on this. Add to that, the fact that 97% of crimes never go to trial. I think thats the 5th&6th amendment possibly. Gov't threatens you with plea deals so they dont have to loose to a jury.

[–]TechnoL33T6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Soooo... What's stopping us from charging them for conspiracy to make cp?

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire27 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Fear of no-holds-barred retribution; apathy; outrage fatigue.

[–]B_Campbell3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They also want to do this without his consent. So you can add forcibly coercing a minor to create pornography to the list.

[–]1996398 points9 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

If what the newspaper has printed is true, the prosecutors have announced that they are conspiring to manufacture child pornography, a strict liability offense, which means intent doesn't matter. If this were a country where the law is applied equally, they'd be disbarred and brought up on criminal charges.

That must not be true because medical journals frequently have photographs of nude children, including specific shots focusing on genitalia. Not that I'm defending these insane fucks, but I'm just saying not all nude photos of children are child pornography.

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire211 points12 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Nude photographs aren't considered CP, there has to be a sexualized component, which of course is subject[ive] (Edit). I'd argue that making the kid get a boner is that component. Just a bunch of sick fucks in the government. Whoever had that idea should be disbarred and shunned into bankruptcy.

[–]Soulcrux2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I think that's why it says "possibly by giving him an injection at the hospital", it covers their bases concerning the sexualization.

Petitions and voting in new people has been tried for so many generations and sadly it is rigged to do nothing in our favor.

[–]DoctorsHateHim1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is the argument that is always brought up when there is something wrong in america. It shouldn't hold any ground because even if this shit were going on in the whole world it does not make it any better.

Let's say civil war broke out in the US, my guess would be that American redditors would still be like "well this is happening in Syria too, so stop your complaining"

Seriously, my American friends, this is nothing you should brush off. It's not normal. I know it would be a huge scandal if it came to light in my country.

"Way beyond sexual assault". There is something very wrong with the idea that the picture taking is worse than the actual assault.

[–]iraqibukkake45 points46 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I think it's important to mention that nobody was actually sexually assaulted in the first place. It was some teens sexting eachother.

[–]ButterMyBiscuit52 points53 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

It's a picture being taken OF sexual assault.

[–]JoshtheAspie 15 points15 points [recovered] | Copy Link

And the sexual assault is the serious part, not the snapping of the photo.

And there are other cases where the photo-snapping doesn't involve sexual assault, such as the case in Japan where only the grandfather was arrested because he and his wife snapped pictures of their grandchildren happily playing in a pool in a screened in back yard, when they had no swimsuits to use.

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire218 points19 points  (17 children) | Copy Link

Manufacturing child pornography versus inducing an erection. Yeah, I don't know. The first thing that popped into my head was "manufacturing child pornography" = strict liability offense = jail. Of course, the state can do whatever it wants! It can (and probably does) make child pornography and then make itself exempt from its own rules.

Also, the photo is plenty serious; it's an artifact of the kid's humiliation that can live forever, and its in the hands of his enemies.

[–]Magnum2565 points6 points  (16 children) | Copy Link

The fact that this is even considered "manufacturing child porn" because a 15 and 17 year old decided to exchange nude photos is so fucking absurd.

The state is wasting time and money pursuing this case when it's fairly clear that no actual crime was committed. Sounds like the mother of the 15 year old girl saw the naked pictures of the 17 year old dude and went batshit crazy over it. This is akin to when a girl has consensual sex and then claims rape afterwards. The mother is some old jealous bitch living with outdated conservative ideologies.

The laws in 'Murica are so shit.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (15 children) | Copy Link

Hey pump your brakes there kid. This society isn't fucked up cause of conservatives. This whole rad-fem, male irrelevancy movement was birthed by liberals. How many green haired, fat acceptance, obese, shrill, Tumblr feminazis are conservative? None. If you want that liberal bullshit take it to shitredditsays TRP isn't your echo chamber for Reddits hivemind politics.

[–]Magnum2568 points9 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I wasn't implying that society is fucked due to conservatism. However in this particular case I don't view the mother of the 15 year old as some "fem-nazi" type, this is much more likely a case of the woman having old-school and/or religious views who thinks that her daughter should be an innocent little angel and that the very nature of sex is somehow unclean and inappropriate (extremely naive in this era); I view such beliefs as very (Christian) Conservative and I don't think it's unfair of me to point it out.

You're right that when talking about rad-fem male irrelevancy movements it's not coming from a Conservative position, but my original comment was not talking about that, I wasn't even talking about how this particular case is being portrayed by the media, I was referring particularly to what I perceive the mothers position/views to be.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

He meant conservative in the sense of traditional and modest not political.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Ya I should have picked up on that. My bad.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

All good. No matter what this case is so wrong and it is very sad and infuriating.

[–]JoshtheAspie 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy Link

Unfortunately, part of what some conservatives fight for is often the venomous romantic-movement pedistalization of women, which was itself a radical and harmful movement of it's time, which became accepted and "mainstream".

"Women are more pure than men" and "men are more vile and monstrous than women" seem to be two sides of the same bias.

Just take a look at Mark Driscol for an example of "man up and marry those sluts".

Edit: You are correct that feminism itself is the near-exclusive domain of statists.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points [recovered] (7 children) | Copy Link

Egh, I think it's because before this new wave feminism that was what worked. When kept within conservative circles this still works. Marriages usually don't work with a liberal/liberal combination or a conservative/liberal combination, but conservative/conservative marriages tend to be the most successful and foster a better future if two young people with proper upbringing do it at a young age before the world gets a chance to pervert them. Their is something to it.

[–]JoshtheAspie 2 points2 points [recovered] | Copy Link

There is a manosphere writer that I enjoy, and that I think you might be interested in as well. His name is Dalrock. He is married, is in favor of actual covenant marriage before God, and is definitely what those that ascribe to the left/right paradigm would call a conservative. I think he describes himself as Redpill.

However, he does not mince words when it comes to infidelity of churches to the words of Christ, nor the failings of modern conservatism. I would highly suggest that you read one of his more recent blog posts on this matter. He covers the subject better on his blog than I could in this format. http://dalrock.wordpress.com/2014/06/29/marriage-of-feminists-and-conservatives/

The big issue is they have to give him a shot to force an erection. It's pretty bad.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

That's the biggest issue? Not the fact that they are sexually abusing him, humiliating him globally for something that isn't a crime that didn't hurt anyone, and doing it with the intent to put him in a cage with violent force in the prime years of his life?

The teen is facing two felony charges

Not the fact that they will strip his right to vote? Or permanently damage his reputation and ability to find a job or enter a University? Not the fact that they are basically going to turn an innocent kid into a lifelong criminal?

How the fuck is this a felony? At worst it might possibly be a misdemeanor, but in actually it's probably just the hysterical hampsteing and bichyness of the girls mom

[–]everclearandmild0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You took my comment out of context. Two things, first, I didn't say it was the biggest issue overall. Second my comment specifically relates to JoshtheAspie's comment about the picture being the worst part of what's happening to him and nothing else.

I'm not sure how you gathered anything else from what I wrote, or assumed I overlooked all that, and stated it was unimportant.

[–]trpfieldreport1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Prince William County*

I'm a resident in this county. You'd be surprised at the zealousness of the police here. I've never been somewhere in this country with a heavier police presence.

Prince William and other surrounding Northern VA counties are among the wealthiest in the nation, and have very deep police departments.

Sadly I'm not surprised to see this story come out of my hometown.

Ridiculous.

[–]Endorsed ContributorWe_Are_Legion0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Sadly, I think the only way they'd see the disgusting nature of what they're doing is if the child being forcibly sexually stimulated and photographed was a girl.

I have no doubt the lawyers pushing for this would've held their tongue if they had that tiny caveat to consider.

Definitely, because she is also in possession of child pornography. I read an article about a similar case on reddit where two 15 year Olds were having sex, this was in florida. The mother of the girl wanted the boy arrested and charged with sex with a minor. So the police put the boy in cuffs but also went to put the girl in cuffs as well. The mother was livid asking why they were arresting her princess. The police told the mother that the princess also was having sex with a minor so she has to also be charged....the mother dropped charges immediately.

[–]ManicMuffin1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm not sure that's how it works. Because sex with a minor is a criminal offense right? So the courts would charge them anyway, it isn't a civil case, it's person vs the state not person vs person.

[–]Tingly_Fingers-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

DAs usually only pick up cases that have been filed and then dropped by the accuser IF they deem the offense worthy enough to pursue a conviction.

Edit: DAs have discretion on what cases they want to pursue. Just because it's a criminal offense doesn't mean that he will get a conviction. And his/her record of wins and losses plays a large role in her/his salary and future job market value.

[–]1dick-opotamus26 points27 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

When this happens the doctor or hospital could be sued into bankruptcy. Someone with DEA license would have to provide the drugs. A law enforcement agent is not qualified to provide and administer the drugs.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan18 points19 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

You must not underestimate the government. The government is an exceptionally well funded adversary and no doubt there are some doctors that are also law enforcement agents. After all if the government can find doctors who are willing to administer lethal injections (pretty much runs counter to the 'do no harm' oath doctors take) then it can find people who are willing to administer boner inducing drugs to some underage kid.

[–]1dick-opotamus16 points17 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

The doctors only participate in executions because the government attempts to keep their identity a secret and no one gives a fuck about criminals. Some specialty boards including the anesthesiology board will remove your certification if you participate in execution.

I cannot imagine a doctor keeping their license after cooperating in this case. Any doctor that works for the state against a patients interest should be stripped of their license. This case is not a gray area and a 17 year old minor is a very sympathetic victim.

Yeah it is pretty fucked up... and the judge and the prosecutor and everyone should damn well be put in the public eye and given a fucking in the media that they deserve (considering most of the time they get cases tried in the court of public opinion before ever stepping foot in a courtroom).

[–]theredpillager1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Agree with everything said, but want to point out that, actually, in most cases it isn't doctors performing these executions. It's RNs or whatever that level is that is allowed to write scrips and administer certain drugs. Most states have extreme difficulty finding qualified medical personnel to perform executions, which is why executions are botched all the fucking time.

I'm feeling lazy so I'm not providing sources right now, but you can google it rather easily. Some very high publicity cases have happened in the past year, where inmates have convulsed for 15 minutes before dying and shit and witnesses, even the victims' families, have said it was barbaric and wrong. A recent one in particular was in Ohio.

[–]199639-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely. In the USA, if a doctor did this, they would immediately be stripped of their hospital privileges and probably lose their license.

[–]likechoklit4choklit1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Kid's defense lawyer got this to the press, which was wise and savvy. He can fight this warrant on both 4th and 5th amendment grounds. Kid needs to express that they do not have the consent to do this and should take the name of the hospital and doctor and threaten to sue them into the ground should the warrant be issued.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Once the cops give their lawful order they will just arrest the Drs and shut down the hospital for obstruction of justice and contempt of court if they refuse. If that doesnt work they can just shoot everyone and claim they had a weapon.

[–]2niczar8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Vasodilators. That's what people used to treat ED before Viagra. It merely involves stabbing your dick with a syringe full of papaverine or prostaglandine. No big deal! (/snark, in case that wasn't obvious.)

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Let them give the injection.

Then sue them for 50 million dollars, and just say that your penis doesn't work anymore because of what they did.

[–]bh32441 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

whose 50 million dollars is that?

[–]theredpillager3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

State's lawyers: We're gonna have to take some photographic evidence to prove that.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Viagra? Pretty sure I saw a interview where a porn actor said they injected it into the cock directly. Suprised me as I assumed they just took pills like everyone else.

[–]t21spectre2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Viagra (Sildenafil) is a vascular de-constrictor. It causes the blood vessels to expand allowing for greater blood flow making getting and maintaining an erection easier. Pfizer originally developed it as a medication for cardiovascular disease, when in trials it showed that impotent men were able to obtain an erection, it was re-marketed for that purpose ($$$). The FDA only allows for a drug to be marketed for one primary purpose, the first "boner pill" would make them far more money than yet another blood pressure pill.

However, it isn't a magic erection pill, you still have to be aroused to get an erection.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They will give him a PGE injection. That is what paralyzed people can use to get an erection and have sex.

The messed up part is usually you need to do this with an ultrasound tech present measuring the dorsal arteries and blood flow through them. PGE injections are also not a one size fits all treatment like Viagra.

In other words a little goes a long way. When this was done to me they were a little heavy on the PGE and my dick felt like it was about to explode like a hotdog in a microwave. They have to have an antidote on hand to administer that takes about 30min to take effect. So for that 30min you are going to have the most painful erection of your life.

Not to mention it is in front of an ultrasound tech a doctor the doctors support staff and in this kids case a fucking detective. If this isn't abusive government I don't know what is.

[–]RPthrowaway12332 points33 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]theredpillager71 points72 points  (8 children) | Copy Link

They already did. Against his will. They just want some of his genitals while erect this time...I wish I were kidding.

edit: My favorite irony of the whole NSA spying revelations was that their spying unequivocally makes the US government the biggest and baddest child pornographer on the planet.

[–][deleted]  (4 children) | Copy Link

[deleted]

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

I think to compare it to his erect penis from the video he sent the girl, to prove it was him. Which is a fucking stupid and pedophilic idea.

[–]theredpillager10 points11 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

This is exactly correct.

  • They want to force an erection on him in front of a small handful of people, or maybe a dozen even (lawyers from both sides probably have to be present, medical staff - doctor, nurse, cops (up to 3 I'd gather), and his legal guardian at the bare minimum. It's just ludicrous. Multiple felonies here, committed by everyone present.
  • Then, after giving him a forcible erection, they want to photograph it, committing a felony themselves in the process,
  • then upload it onto their computers, another felony,
  • then using software to match it to the erect penis in the video in question
  • then just submit it as evidence into the permanent court history that will go on file forever and ever never to go away and will eventually be public record. I suppose maybe the photos won't be, I don't know. Nonetheless, distribution of child pornography - another felony.

No big deal, amirite?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Just the thought of a doctor injecting my penis with medicine so that I am uncontrollably erect so that a bunch of fucking cops can look at it while attempting to paint me as a felon... that's sexual assault and I would end up distrusting so many people in my life if it ever happened to me.

[–]Nahvi2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

distrusting so many people in my life if it ever happened to me.

I'm pretty sure if this happened to me I'd be be chanting the names of everyone standing in that room at bedtime, a la Arya Stark.

The US has been as bad as the Soviets since the start of the Cold War, they were just richer and better at hiding it, until now.

[–]dallz_beep0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

The hiding it will improve as soon as they end net neutrality and the internet as we know it is shut down. They deeply regret decentralizing the spread of information and want to return to the good old days. They'll probably get it too.

[–]QQ_L2P64 points65 points  (8 children) | Copy Link

This is retarded to the point of absurdity. Are people genuinely this f*cking retarded that at no point through the prosecutions train of thought did they think "is this the right course of action"?

Foster asked how that would be accomplished and was told that “we just take him down to the hospital, give him a shot and then take the pictures that we need."

I... I don't even understand how this individual wasn't weeded out by natural selection. Darwin, you lied to us!

I genuinely want to believe that this is gross incompetence on a scale unknown to any known unit of measure. Just... ah fuck it.

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't even understand how this individual wasn't weeded out by natural selection.

I don't understand why the boy's father doesn't shoot him.

[–]theredpillager40 points41 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The child's legal guardian (whose disgust the article quotes several times) is his aunt. He is parentless.

[–]QQ_L2P-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

BP? Pussy whipped so hard he's forgotten he has testicles? Conflict averse because only "cavemen" do that? Take your pick.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I... I don't even understand how this individual wasn't weeded out by natural selection. Darwin, you lied to us!

Unfortunately this means only that you don't really understand evolution by natural selection, not that Darwin was mistaken.

[–]QQ_L2P-2 points-1 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Ignoring any sort of bottlenecks, deleterious alleles such as stupidity, generally should be weeded out because they confer no advantage.

But please, if you have any alternative information go right ahead.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

In what way do you imagine there's actually any selective pressure on intelligence in modern society? This pressure is the fundamental mechanism of natural selection. Even the genuinely retarded are often able to mate today. Without strong selective pressure most traits are subject to genetic drift, and in this condition it's generally as rare for the allelic frequency to go to completion as it is for it to go to 0 (assuming it doesn't start very low, and with stupidity it certainly did not).

For tens of thousands of years now living in large communal groups, and eventually what we call civilization, has seriously dampened the direct effect of selective pressure on even the most negative physical and mental traits. It really shouldn't surprise you that stupid people are still a massive part of our population when all you have to do is walk down the street in any city in America and view the shockingly unintelligent herding their equally intellectually inferior offspring into the nearest McDonald's. It's not just possible for them to breed and further their genetic lineage, it's been far easier since the advent of civilization for the stupid (or the weak) to pair with their equals, enhancing many times their potential both for reproductive success (relative to our hominid ancestors) and for producing even less fit offspring.

[–]Notberyimaginative0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

What we consider 'stupid' traits now, were often advantageous strategies back in the caveman days.

Society has undergone a paradigm shift faster than our brains and bodies can evolve to keep up.

[–]QQ_L2P-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Traits such as "intelligence" or "problem solving" are pretty much universal, regardless of the time period. Whether it be "don't stroke the big kitty with fangs" or "don't forcibly take pornographic pictures of minors to submit as evidence for the state prosecution in a court of bloody law". The paradigm shift you refer to can apply to mating strategies or natural physiological responses in a Westernised culture. If you grow up in a location where you aren't surrounded by police, hospitals or a wide choice of mates, your natural biological responses and mating strategies are very much relevant.

However, this is besides the point because the explanation of natural selection was correct. Don't spread bad science around. There's enough misinformation as it is.

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

shouldnt there be a federal or state prosecutor to bring these criminals on charges of manufacturing child pornography? taking pics of a 17 year olds penis is illegal. also, pussypass

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan9 points10 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

See the state gets to decide what is and is not a crime because the state can invoke sovereign immunity at any point in time. It's why you will never be able to sue the government for screwing you over and apparently with recent events they can extend this immunity to corporations (AT&T warrant-less wiretapping scandal for example).

[–]VegasHostTre1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

No you can sue the government and win. In 1999, the federal government was found guilty of assassinating Martin Luther King Jr. in civil court. Now the issue of receiving payment is a whole different story.........

[–]WhiteTrashInTrouble28 points29 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

So she sent pictures to him first, and then he responded... and her mom gets the boy arrested. What about the fact that her delicate little angel sent a picture first?

This is beyond absurd. This is goofy teenagers doing dumb shit that goofy teenagers do. They want to take him to the hospital and give him a shot to give him an erection to compare his to the one in the picture? Isn't it already obvious it is his? I'm flabbergasted sometimes at how stupid people can be.

[–]t21spectre3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Someone is probably trying to make District Attorney, I can't imagine one can boast an impressive conviction record in Prince William County. This happens everywhere.

Like child support, most people don't know judges get raises and bonuses for the amount of child support they award, because now, in many places, it is paid directly to the court, who in turn pays the custodial parent. The court adds on a percentage for "administrative" costs...

[–]u432457-4 points-3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is the first redpill post in the entire thread. I'm amazed at how /r/theredpill has become /r/MensRights

Men and women are different.

Don't dismiss it as goofy teenagers. There's nothing goofy about it.

A young woman does a slutty thing. Her mother flips out - which is good - and gets the guy she does the slutty thing towards arrested - which is not really appropriate considering where our social norms have gone but whatever.

The courts and media, taking a break from pushing for more woman astronauts and physicists, gleefully goes along with it.

[–]bertstare1011 points12 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

when it comes to sexting between two teenagers (e..g.. one is 17 and the other is 17) or both under 18 it should not be considered illegal.

punishing a 17 year old for seeing pictures of another 17 year old was not the intent of the law.

[–]1Gavlan_Wheel14 points15 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I wonder how many teenage girls have figured out that they can blackmail anyone by just sending them a naked picture of themselves?

"Oh sure, go to the cops and tell them that I blackmailed you. I'll just tell them you manipulated me into sending you to the photo, not to mention that you have kiddie porn on your phone you pedophile!"

Our "child" pornography laws need a major revamp. But no politician in his right mind would dare touch it, so it will stay the way it is.

[–]bertstare100 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I have a feeling that they might change in our lifetime due to the number of kids who have sexted. It's considered "technically" a serious crime.

[–][deleted]  (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]bertstare102 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

exactly, which is why it's also fucking retarded that they have it on certain job applications and if you're dumb enough to answer yes even though it was only "16 yr old you and another 16 year old trading pictures" you're not going to get the job.......

Which is kinda hilarious .... considering 50+% of kids my age have apparently sexted while underage.

http://time.com/2948467/chances-are-your-teen-is-sexting/

[–]u432457-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

sexting between people who aren't married should be illegal, especially enforced against men, and the legal rights of women should match their level of responsibility.

[–]FatherEarth7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Is the sole purpose of the police to ruin as many people's lives as possible? Two felonies for a 17 year old boy sexting his girlfriend? This is outrageous.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I think before every trial the judge needs to sit down and think to himself "What exactly are we trying to do here" before they start fucking people's lives up

[–]TagBro11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Holy fuck the amount of retardness in this bullshit is too damn high. Seriously?

Can you ever imagine police taking photos of an underage girl's vagina to make comparisons? That's right, that would never be allowed. FUCK, the irony in this story is fucking amazing.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]TagBro0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

"The male teen was served with petitions from juvenile court in early February, and not arrested, but when the case went to trial in juvenile court in June, Foster said prosecutors forgot to certify that the teen was a juvenile. The case was dismissed, but police immediately obtained new charges and also a search warrant for his home. "

Case was dismissed but they just charged him again?
Is that not double jeopardy?

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Dismissed IS NOT the same as acquitted in a court of law.

If charges are dismissed then you better not be talking about how you got away with it because if there is new evidence then they can charge you again.

If you go through the court process and are found not guilty then you're safe via double jeopardy.

[–]1ZAQXSWCDEVFR11 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

They also dismiss because that way they can say, "we didn't lose the case, it's still ongoing". That way they don't fuck with their conviction rates. It's total bullshit.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep in which case any lawyer worth their salt will make a motion to dismiss with prejudice (which is effectively the same as a not guilty verdict so it's unlikely a judge may grant it but they should still ask for it)

[–]theredpillager4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Different charges. Not double jeopardy.

[–]t21spectre2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Double Jeopardy applies to being found innocent and being charged with the same crime again.

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_CHESTHAMS5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Bromo-sexual2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This is why I agree with the death penalty. The entire police department, judge, and prosecution need to be lined up against a wall and shot.

[–]xxmickeymoorexx3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I live nearby. The judicial system here is comptely screwed up. The worst part about this is that minor things like this end up clogging the system. At one time a felony was extremely hard to get, Same as being on the sex offender registry. Now these are both so commonplace I the area that it essentially is starting to mean nothing. In years past a Grand larceny charge was hard to obtain. $1000 was a LOT of money, considering many people made pennies an hour. Now the amount of a Grand Larceny is $200. That is almost nothing in comparison with inflation.

So criminals that were going above and beyond, stealing what was a huge sum, and getting caught were given the label "felon". It meant something. Now in this day and age felonies are commonplace for small crimes. Breaking the usefulness of the system. This is also happening in the Sex Offender Registry. In the past the only people that got that label were real sexual predators. Whereas now you can get a sex offender title for peeing in public, or sending a picture consentually to a significant other.

As far as the pictures being taken by police, it is way out of line, and should be squashed immediately.

[–]rockumsockumrobots4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The big alpha government God will make that evil white heterosexual male do his true duty to society by being chastised in the holy flame of the law for the rest of his life. [–]jzerocoolj4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link
