A lot has been said about the OKCupid graphs, which purportedly show how female perception of male attractiveness is badly skewed. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth about hypergamy and unfair expectations and what-not. Men, on the other hand, are regarded as fairer judges because they grade women on a normal distribution.

I propose that it is men who actually have the skewed perception, chiefly because most of the female beauty they see in the world is artificial. Forget about porn, women do a good enough job themselves of giving men unrealistic expectations. Almost every woman you've seen in real life has been wearing makeup, or had her hair done, or was wearing a bra, or spandex, etc. Most of the women you see on TV, in magazines, and on the Internet have had even greater modifications done to them. All of these things enhance a woman's attractiveness and conceal potential flaws, and if this sub has anything to do with discovering the truth, we should learn to look past any illusions.

So my question here is a hypothetical one: if you were to remove all female cosmetics, all clothing, all of it, how many women would you now find unattractive, and how many would still be naturally attractive? Just your personal views and experience is fine.

Though if I could hazard a guess, would it happen to be... 80/20?
