I think it’s common seeing people who read ton of stuff here in TRP and non-fiction/self-improvement books.

The problem here is that I don’t know if reading this stuff can be considered a real investment as it’s like having a manual of life but never doing anything with it.

What I mean is, first thing is advised to TRP’ers is lifting. Yet for me it seems a simple task and it has become a normal routine. I train 3-4 times a week and I consider it a “fun” activity, or better, a real hobby. And now?

I’m 18 and still in high school and I’m so fuckin determined to become somebody in this world. But it seems like I can’t do a shit with just determination, acting is what increases someone’s value.

The thing is TRP seems to make everything easier, but it does not. It’s just the idea that you have found a guide on how to become Bill Gates. But for me, after spending 2 months here reading TRP, the only thing I improved is my understanding of women and society.

I’m in a situation where I don’t know what else to do to increase my value besides lifting and reading (as I said I wouldn’t consider reading something that increases your value, but rather an investment that MIGHT increase it in the long term)

I’m feeling like school is useless and everytime I’m studying math or whatever it is I ask myself “do I really need this shit to become somebody?”

I’d like to study something on my own that might make me get somewhere.

You will say “You have to find out how to use TRP”, yet it seems an abstract concept and just a “fantasy”.

What are your personal experiences with TRP?
