Literally just straight talk with the roomie. My college roommate and I had an agreement. We both had friends we could hang with or somewhere to go study so the other could have some private time amd then you just message them when it's ok to come back.

Yeah, actually you can. My freshman year roommate and I had rubber band (one of the thicker ones) that we would put on the outside door handle if one of us had pulled - the other guy would go sleep in the lounge. Now you could text him or something.

You can't abuse the privilege, though.

Why don’t you just rent an apartment? have you done a cost comparison between sharing an apartment with someone & renting a dorm room with someone? Move up.

Talk to the guy. Wanting some privacy for sex is normal in college, as long as you aren't being unreasonable. Be honest with yourself. Are you using this "problem" as an excuse because asking a girl back to your room is too intimidating? I have noticed a lot of guys on this forum make all sorts of lame logistical excuses why they can't get laid...almost like they don't want to solve the problem so they can continue playing victim and remain in denial.
