I joined temporarily this group of five guys and like twenty seven girls at college, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to meet more girls without too much competition, but there's this guy we will call Mike.
I won't get all butthurt and call Mike a loser, because he isn't. Mike is a cool guy, he's handsome, tall, has an incredibly deep voice, he draws like a boss and he's funny. I haven't met him enough to tell if he has frame or game, but the downsides I can tell from him is that he is extremely skinny and doesn't take a lot of care for his personal image. Despite all this, he was the only above average guy in the group, he basically had no competition before I came.
All the girls love him, even the ones I'm trying to game, I can't avoid to feel a little bit of jealousy. But despite all of this, he looks like a cool dude to hang with, so I view him more like a friendly rival instead of an enemy.
I know this situation seems very specific, but I think this is an important lesson to apply in all fields of life where you are competing for power and dominance.
So how should I proceed? Is befriending him the easiest way to show my dominance? Should patience be the key? How can I avoid getting AMOG'd? How can I AMOG without looking like an insecure try hard?
I would be really grateful for your advice.
