Actually seeing what is there, and seeing what it is they want me to see, helps me navigate life.

For me: - A boss on the car making small talk, but only going around to whether I am toeing the line.

  • Guy asking me to come to the worksite "to see better", meaning he can't be arsed to lose 15 minutes explain in writing what they want and prefer me to lose an hour to go there to save it for them.

  • Everything they say on the news. Sometimes its like they have a bullshit sign on their forehead.

  • Salesmen. They drone and drone, only thing I hear is buy this already, give me your money. Or I throw a question and see as either they address it (comfortable, its ok) or detour around it with care (weak spot)

  • Publicity. No matter how much tits on the screen, I often blank out the name of the product. I kind of learned not to register what's it about, so a car commercial can pass and I don't remember what brand.

  • Magazine covers. These days always wonder how much photoshop there.
