I'm reading a book that really stresses, to be a successful leader, the qualities of selflessness and loyalty amongst business subjects. I've definitely oriented my mindset toward machiavellian tendencies since discovering theredpill and reading 48 laws of power. I'm conflicted here. It seems to me that these traits are predicated on the assumption that others will reciprocate, which we all know how it goes when you presume a woman will stay loyal.

Does anyone have any input on these qualities of leadership in the contexts of business, friendships and women. Share some stories of getting stabbed in the back being overly loyal or anecdotes of loyalty paying off when you stuck with someone through tough times.
