In my quest to soak up all knowledge on everything TRP, I have found that putting up with less BS has made me into a bit more of a cynic, and perhaps a little more likely to call people out on their BS. A particular instance that comes to mind relates to a run to McD's on my way home from class. I placed my order in the drive through, pulled up, paid, got my order, and for some reason I decided to check to make sure everything was there. I even went so far to make sure that the sandwich I ordered was made the way I asked. It wasn't, so I actually took the time to go in and have it corrected. I am finding that there are a couple of things that are improving my quality of life. Firstly, I don't visit establishments where I am likely to be disappointed. Secondly, I am more likely to point out if I know something is incorrect or inadequate. It has helped me a great deal when working with clients or co-workers.
Have any of you experienced your own behavior modification outside of dealing with women and relationships? I really have to say that I am digging the new me.
