How would that make you feel, if a previous girlfriend or f-buddy of yours was pregnant and was hiding it from you? How would it feel to have any freedom of choice in the matter completely ripped from you?

I understand for some it's a sensitive issue, but how come this is even an option? Are we this disposable? That a girl can keep a pregnancy from you? Possibly using it against you in your future without you even knowing about it to begin with. I found this website and was instantly sick to my stomach:

http://www.babycenter.com/400_how-should-i-tell-him-im-pregnant-with-his-baby_9591975_332.bc

"I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. The father of the baby left me for his ex girlfriend just after our baby was conceived. The baby wasn't planned, and I thought i was in a loving relationship. Before i took the pregnancy test i hinted to him that i might be pregnant, but he thought it was a way to get him back, and told me to never contact him again. Now that I am pregnant i don't know if i want to tell him, although i feel this isn't right! and i'm afraid that he will think im lying. what are your views on this ? should i tell him or not ?"

So she "hinted" to him that she "might" be pregnant? I can't even believe I read that.

To which some of the replies are:

I was in the same situation. Make sure you have a good friend there because the guy I was seeing told me to have an abortion. I was in tears he was giving me all the reasons not to have the baby and said it wasnt fare for me to have the baby if he didn't want it. Mind I tell you I cried my eyes out all night. Eventually I desided I wanted my baby so I told him a few weeks later I was keeping the baby

There are some good replies on the forums too, but this is a really scary and dangerous concept that a girl can get pregnant and not even tell you. Discuss?

*EDIT: I'm sorry if I wasn't being clear, but I meant how would you feel if your ex would come back into your life a year or two into the future with your child that you just met or heard of for the first time, asking for child support or to help her raise him/her?
