I've been saying this for years.In the dark,paleolithic past hypergamy was a huge gamble.Yeah, a woman could bang some alpha male,but if he didn't stick around then her child and maybe her as well would both starve.

Out here in Japan, there is a strong social welfare system -- a single mother of 4 can make enough off of welfare to live quite comfortably -- but there are still a lot of women who want nothing more than to snag a decent beta provider, get hitched, and pop out a few kids as soon as they graduate from high school/college. These women aren't hurting in the looks department either.

I, and I know many other men have come to this same conclusion independently. Women still need men as much as they ever did. Fathers, boyfriends and brothers have traditionally protected women, provided for women and did their dirty work for them at the cost that the woman wouldnt be a total slut. Thanks to feminist policies in the past few decades the providing, protecting and doing of the dirty work switched to the government funded by men's tax dollars which allows them to follow the hypergamous nature.

I've been many many times to Mexico and have lived there for a few years. Mexico has a low GDP, 9k dlls, and a useless welfare system that can be cheated quite easily. If the system is not cheated then the money paid is incredibly low. I've heard of people paying 30 dlls a month on child support when they make 2k dlls a month. Result?
