Two of my cousins recently gave birth to sons. Their dads are unfortunately pretty blue-pilled. I've decided that I need to insert myself as a male role model within acceptable family limits. Although I'd love to be the cool uncle type that takes them paintballing &c, we live far apart so mostly I'll just send them books for Christmas and their birthdays. So I was wondering what books you've gotten for your sons/nephews to raise them red-pilled?

Here's my ideas so far, the list definitely lacks sports and religious themed books since I was never into those as a kid.

Edit: To be clear, not all of these books fit my own situation (too overt/preachy/not-my-kids), but they may fit yours. Also, added your suggestions. Thanks!

Ages 0-7: Mostly just try to keep books interesting I guess. Sports, trucks, pirates and other tough/cool guys. Mikey and the Dragons was suggested. Any time spent reading aloud to them A++.

Ages 7-9: Modern: Way of the Warrior Kid + Jocko Wilink's podcast. Hatchet. My Side of the Mountain. Ender's Game + shadow series. Eragon + series. Ranger's Apprentice + others by John Flanagan. Nonfiction about knights, Romans, pirates, astronauts, athletes.

Classic: The Hobbit. The Jungle Book (maybe next age category). The Arabian Nights (kids version). Chronicles of Narnia.

Ages 10-13: Modern: Starship Troopers + others by Heinlein. His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass, etc.). Alex Rider/CHERUB series (teen spies). Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. Sword/fantasy stuff.

Classic: The Lord of the Rings. Lord of the Flies. Captains Courageous. Harold, Last King of Saxons. Treasure Island. Stories of Heroic Deeds. Gulliver's Travels. King Arthur and Robin Hood - Roger L Greene versions. Beowulf.

Ages 14-18: Nonfiction: 48 Laws of Power + Mastery + others by Greene. Meditations - Marcus Aurelius. Gorgias, Crito, Republic - Plato. Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training. A Mind for Numbers. Nietzsche, but not too much. Mate: Become the Man Women Want (one of the things I like most about it is questioning whether or not you need to go to college right away). How to Win Friends and Influence People. The Millionaire Next Door. Personal finance/style/sports/body language/healthy cooking books.

Fiction: Shakespeare. anything by James Fenimore Cooper. The Odyssey. A Scanner Darkly (probably makes a greater impression than any 'talk' about drugs). The Importance of Being Earnest. The Three Body Problem. Hemingway. Vince Flynn-type stuff. 10000 Leagues Under the Sea.
