Rest assured, strategy will never be removed.

Even if it does, send me a PM, and I'll unlock it. Most mod decisions are made with a 'better to ask forgiveness, than permission' attitude. Waiting for consensus takes too fucking long. For most things, someone has a reason for doing it, and the rest of the guys either agree, or don't have a strong enough reason/inclination to veto that decision. For some things, there is the reason/inclination. In these cases, veto gets the final say, unless the rest of the mod panel vetos that. It's not a formal thing, I've simply seen that as the process that unfolds. Not just mods either.

Fictional example:

Say the professor bans someone for a reason, oh I don't know, being 'children with dynamite'. Then said person sends a modmail in response arguing that it's unjustified, and that it's not that. Usually, it's just lashing out, calling the mod cuck, so the rest of us step in and mute him, or turn a 3 day cooling off period into a permanent ban. Or, the rare alternative, the person points out that it's not that, it was a mockery of someones flawed argument etc. And hey, satire and retard look the same at a cursory glance, it happens. In that case, the veto wins. Mistakes were made, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Cheers!

Does this mean who cares the most gets their way? I say it's whomever advocates for utility gets utility. Of course, if no one reports, responds like a man in messages, or otherwise discusses these things with other men (from an RP lens) then you either don't care enough, or have a strong enough reason to disagree. Medium is the message. Rounding up the herd in random threads seems weak to me, like one isn't getting the message, or only applying it in a specific, pussy-centric situation.

Again, and I commented elsewhere. I don't know why that particular thread was locked, I say why I lock threads, and I can also say 0 people sent a PM or modmail wondering why, or saying it shouldn't. At least 29 different comments were put into this thread discussing how we should 'feel' about something being removed, and whether we 'agree' it should have happened, or shouldn't have. Maybe suggesting how they will act in the future in response to this action that feels outside their control.

Not singling people out, it's fact

Either way, if you care enough about something, if you find theres enough utility to warrant giving a fuck, then bring it up in modmail, make a report, message a mod, take some action... You know, own your shit.

I don't have any ego about this place, and I don't get the impression the other mods do either. My life moves on, I still read and apply all the same RP I do now if this place disappears tomorrow, and I find another place to continue to study up on the subject. I'm sure if one is so inclined, they can look back to bad decisions I make here, and see rectifying actions as well. You won't get an apology, but them's the breaks.

But the one, and only point I want to make here, and /u/fuckMRP gets to be the dick I'm riding to make it, is this place is, ultimately, going to reflect the work of the 15k readers of MRP, not half a dozen guys who can click additional buttons. Best to start acting as if this is the case. The extra button clickers are the landscapers, we aren't also the gardeners and brick layers. 15k -6 guys are what build this garden.

And at the end of the day, if you truly disagree with that, you're more than welcome to have a temper tantrum, message all current users, and try out a new sub, taking whatever content from here you desire to do your thing. IT's not as if two groups of women haven't done that already see /u/redpillwives and /u/realalpha

Just be aware, once your impotent rage subsides, you'll now have a group of beta males desperate to build a man, and they trusted you to help them do so.
