Corollary -- just because you found Red Pill last week doesn't mean you've made any type of meaningful change after your years and years of pitiful beta behavior. One week doesn't change how she sees you. In fact, one month, or even one year still won't. You've probably fucked up so much in your relationship that she's going to be skeptical of your gigantic act for the rest of your life -- and with good cause too, because you probably have been a giant bitch for the duration of your relationship.

Just yesterday, I read some guy who wrote "I don't think I was that big of a beta"... jesus. The male hamster. Protecting your ego. Recognize that you suck, probably have sucked, and probably will continue to suck as a man or leader in the eyes of your wife, because that's the image you've managed to firmly establish. Being afraid to face the harsh reality of this fact to spare your own ego simply reinforces the fact.

LUCKILY for you, you can do something about this. You can choose to not give a fuck about your past self. You can continue to work to improve yourself each day going forward, to work in a manner that is consistent with your new outlook on life. Your wife thinks you're still a giant fucking loser? Good for her. Not your fucking problem. Each and every single time you try to use your wife, or your boss, or whoever to judge yourself as a person simply means you are still someone's bitch - as you value someone else's judgment on yourself. You can own your shit and take responsibility for your life and happiness. That's the goal. Whether or not your wife decides to follow you is not your fucking problem. But I can guarantee you that if you are consistently leading and following through in the exact manner that you say and envision as well as handling any obstacles with the type of deftness only the truly confident man can, that old version of you, the bitch who sucked, will slowly become a distant memory of the past.

tl;dr - as long as your ego controls your actions or worldview, you fail.

Your wife is fat - you can't lead. I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. Every time my wife has put on weight its always been the times that Ive been too much of a pussy to say how we are going to eat in our home, and not taking the initiative on leading us on exercise regiments. In the last two months Ive told her bluntly we are not eating any more gluten free bread ( loaded with carbs),beer only on weekends in moderation,fast every Sunday, no more OJ/Apple juice and I want dinners that are limited on starches ( gluten free or not). On top of that , every night, I take the initiative and lead us on a brisk 4 mile walk. ( despite being dog tired from working in the woods all day) She has followed my lead and its seen in how she looks ( less weight/healthier). That said , there continues to be the occasional push back /Shit test. Just yesterday she goes to me " I am low on vitamin C so I really need to start drinking OJ again". I respond with " no - juice ; you can stick to the whole oranges that we've been eating -they have more than enough C " She grumbled and put up additional resistance which I ignored and then the topic was dropped. I continue to stick to my strong frame. Our home will not be a home where poor health is tolerated - period

This can be a hard pill to swallow, but it's important to see. Its a concept often ignored here even by those who know better. They maintain this"my wife is a shrew" even though things are "better" since MRP.... And then you still get a sense of angsty teen from them. Makes me think that comes off at home and poisons the well.... Basicly the wife is acting as a reflection of these things seeping in.
