Happening all within the span of a week, it was a girl in one of my classes that I had a side thing with. It started off flirtatious, got heavy-handed and we ended up making out one time at school. The next days she began acting more distant. Would pull away from kisses, said that she "barely knows me" and that she's "not that kind of girl". OK, prude, whatever, just gotta take it more slow, right?

She wants me sitting next to her every lunch. She parades me to her friends, how I'm her "new hot European boyfriend", and never wants to meet after school or hang out. When I was talking to another girl, who asks me how it was back where I was from, she literally appears out of nowhere and says "so how many times do you tell that story every day?" and gave me a death glare. When I didn't show up for lunch, it was a topic she used to complain to all her theater friends.

When I show up at theater to see some friends, she's there. I have my doubts, but decide to see if I can't take her somewhere quiet. When we're walking down the hallways, she literally drops to her knees, pretends to fumble through her backpack and is fingering her phone maniacally, saying that she needs to "find out where her mom is". This grotesque scene was cringey to watch, and she continued to do this until she saw a friend of hers, called her over and told her to "walk her to her locker". Trying my best not to cringe, I knew this wouldn't go anywhere and just ended up leaving. Removed her from phone and SM.

Did I handle this well? Any tips on dealing with the fallout this will leave?
