She has no reason to dread the situation because you're lowering your own value. Your stories could apply the same whether she's a harping shrew or an honest to god good girlfriend. She get's pissed and stops talking because you clearly and rudely told her you didn't care to. Why would she dread seeing less of that? You went out and got drunk, whoopty do.

You get respect by showing your value, in practice and action, not in braggery. If you're trying to get respect, that's how you get it. Not by making her value your company LESS. Trying to pull away, like both those dick moves do, when you're acting so freaking weird and random and mean? Well, dread is accomplished, but she's probably looking for exits, since you don't sound like a real fun keeper at the moment.

What kills me is that I seriously think your girl may be a good one, or at least an average one. Her reactions sound reasoned, measured, perfectly proportional. They're the reactions of a girl concerned about keeping the relationship going in the midst of a random fucked behavior from you. Not the reactions of someone who condescended to you before.

I think you're application of TRP is just terrible. Why would you shrug her off when she tells you about her day..? The only time you should shrug shit off is when her day includes some guys at the office hitting on her. That's when you use amused mastery.

You're asking us for when you can expect a turn-around and when you'll regain control... Do you know how bad that is. You'll see a turn around when you put in the required effort and take the appropriate actions to get the results you want, and you'll regain control when you man up and take it.
