Essentially, i am geographically forced into a Monk Mode situation for the next 3 years. I have graduated medical school and I am in my three year long residency program. During this time I'll have access to the internet and everything, but the closest town with more than 20,000 people is about a two hour drive away.

Due to this, I'm wondering how to optimize my time and grow as much as possible. Obviously finishing my journey to becoming a physician is my most important goal. I don't want to go around and trying to flirt with every girl I see, as it's a small town, and it is awkward if they become patients (either in the ED or the clinic).

So, how to make the most of this time?

I've already read: The rational male, the manipulated man

Currently reading: daily stoic, The Charisma Myth

Thoughts:

  • I'm thinking i'll work on meditating everyday.
  • Dieting: BF currently around 16%, i want to get it down to 9%
  • Read and practice personal skills in the clinic, such as those gained from The Charisma Myth and 92 Little Tricks

Other thoughts on things i can work on?
