This is a simple FR for LTR, but I thought I would briefly share what's going on in our household this evening. While I make plans to go hunting this weekend, my SO is in the kitchen, wearing a bikini, and cooking a healthy, delicious dinner for us and our child. It wasn't that long ago that the idea of me making plans to be away from her would've resulted in a fight and me sleeping on the couch. Now, not only does she embrace the idea of me doing what I want (because she knows it makes me happy), the idea of me killing food for our table gets her excited about possible dove recipes.
So for anyone out there who still doubts whether TRP can work in an LTR I can categorically state it works beautifully. We're both so much happier than our blue pill selves and were able to break the cycle of codependency that kept us anchored (miserable) to each other for years.
