That's basically what countless of cultural adaptations were about, e.g. the Jungian shadow, initiation rituals into manhood, boys-only spaces, the boy scouts, segregation in the workplace and sciences etc. It was all about faking high status cues or securing positions of status for men in order to compensate for women's preference for that (partly of course also a natural result of men being stronger and more competent/mature on average).

Either way by faking it, within couple months those traits become your personality, I would suggest start loving all manly shit cars,gym,sports enjoy being in action, enjoy doing shit, take dark triad traits and start doing them it's as simple as that.

I have the hypothesis that Dark Triad traits are honest signals that people have high social status because they can get away with doing bad things harmful to the group.

I think they really only work if you can get away with it.

A lot of people really hate "soibois" but I suspect that such seemingly delusional behaviour is probably the best strategy for a beta (absent modern artificial pros and cons like plastic surgery or lots and lots of fattening food causing them to be obese.) But at least at one time being a "soiboi" was probably the best sexual strategy for a beta even if it is obviously worse than being a chad.

It works but it promotes becoming a violent disrespectful man which has overall negative effect on society. I think this is why older cultures had fathers playing a larger role in picking his daughters mate. There's even examples of this sort of behaviour in Buddhist texts about females choosing bad boys, murderers. Some examples i know of top of my head

Interesting, this is the first I've heard of this.

An anecdote:

In my 30s, I had a really nasty breakup. I'm not sure if I'm autistic, psychopathic, or both, but I've always noticed that I had to 'fake' feelings of sympathy and empathy. I just don't feel much at all. I don't get happy, I don't get sad, I'm just super even-keeled.

After that break-up, I just completely stopped giving a fuck. I'd always had lots of girlfriends simultaneously, but up until that point I'd done my best to 'juggle' them. For instance, if I spent Christmas with one girlfriend I would spend New Years eve with the other GF.

But after that breakup, I was like "fuck it." I literally moved to another state, bought my own place, lived alone in it. I would tell the girls that I was dating that I was dating other girls. Like, I would literally be on the first date and telling girls how I basically wanted to add them to my harem.

I'd never done that before; before that I was sneaky and deceptive.

Lo and behold, literally 80% of the girls I met were down for my arrangement.

So it IS an interesting observation; perhaps my success was due to being a straight-up psychopath.

I'm not physically abusive or anything like that, it was just selfishness combined with brutal honesty. Whereas before, it was selfishness combined with a big helping of lies and deception.

Dunno, YMMV.

Also, I am dumpy as fuck. Probably a five or six on a good day. I am tall and rich, so that helps.

EDIT: the more I ponder the question, I honestly don't think I'm psycho. I think that the reason that the strategy worked is because people value honesty. In addition, I don't think women are as opposed to you having multiple girlfriends as you might think. In my 20s I was deceptive about it, because I was worried that my girlfriends would leave me. But as I got older I found that often they liked it if I was getting serviced by some other woman, because they generally wanted sex less than I did. Most of the girls I dated were perfectly happy having sex once or twice a week, if that. If I dialed it back to 1-2x per month that probably would've been fine.

OK, my mind is officially blown. I've had a few people accuse me of being a psychopath, and I don't think I fit the bill. But I definitely fit the "Machiavellian" personality type, this describes me perfectly.

In particular, I am so unemotional, I frequently have to fake emotions so that other people don't get upset. For instance, when I was younger, girls were often irritated because I don't get jealous over other guys. So I had to pretend to be jealous, when I couldn't care less.

What a trip.

You fake it and still dont get pussy - guess what? you are now frustrated and fake.

Just be yourself and honest. Women have good fakeness detectors, you get caught once and boy you will be caught for you can't maintain that frame forever and you will be done.
