I heard Rollo Tomassi talk about it on a YouTube video. He said that becoming a good stable provider was a valid sexual strategy that men used in the 1940's and 1950's, but ever since the sexual revolution (and certainly since the age of the internet and social media), it's largely a waste of time as a sexual/mating strategy. He said that too many guys were "playing by the old set of rules" which worked back in the 40's and 50's, but which no longer work anymore. A woman can get a stable, boring, nice beta whenever she wants. What she truly wants is that hot alpha who she can have "monkey sex hanging from the chandeliers".

Of course you have to focus on the beta bucks side a little bit. No woman wants an unemployed loser who still lives in his mom's basement at 30 years old. But as long as you have a job, live away from your parents and seem independent, competent and able to stand on your own two feet, anything more than that is largely pointless.

What do you reckon? I mean, you only have to look at guys like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg to see that focusing on beta bucks is a waste of time beyond a certain point - you don't see women lining up for sex with them.
