I have a very masculine face, I've been told this in fact. However, my posture, body language, the way I walk, etc. does not radiate confidence and masculinity. Neither does my personality. My voice? I have a soft voice, more fitting for a sensitive poet than a manly man.

Where am I going with this? When people see my face, they assume that I'm a certain type of person. But then they notice my body language, my voice, etc. And this creates a sort of "uncanny valley" type of effect, where I look the way they imagine me, but the way I act doesn't fit it. The same way a person that sees a zombie, who looks like a human but acts like a zombie, would create an uncanny valley experience. But there's more. People after that assume I'm a cold, distant, unsociable, stiff, awkward nerd kind of person. But then they see me laughing with and being very friendly to my best friend. And then this creates ANOTHER "uncanny valley" type of effect, because again they made a wrong assumption about my personality, where in reality I'm only cold, distant and so on towards strangers, but I'm warm and friendly towards people who are close to me.

My hypothesis is that this is in large part why I am unattractive to women, I simply weird out their "sixth sense" as they call it. Is there any plausibility to my hypothesis?
