Yes, with evolutionary Psychology you can actually paint a picture where everything fits together and is easily understandable and explainable.

You can also explain seemingly unexplainable things such as teenagers shouting profanities at each other in online games.

If you want to understand the why of human behavior, you have to put it in the social context of 60.000 years ago when humans lived in small groups of 30-100 people. Men were the hunters/fighters/warriors/risk takers and women took care of the community/children.
Life was hard and your social status weighted a lot on your chances of putting your genes forward into the next generation.

You can put almost any human behavior into this context and understand why we humans behave like we do.

Psychology isn't a science, so take everything from the field of psychology with a huge grain of salt

You'd be correct in calling it pseudoscience. Neuroscience has far more validity, as it is a science
