The fact that so many young men believe that the Instagram posts of social media influencers are a good and factual representation of reality is boggling my mind. It's amazing to me that they believe things like luxury vacations paid for by sponsors or a sugar daddy are actually a normal thing, to the point where many are claiming that this is how most young women travel. There have been similar assertions about camgirls, which they believe somehow means that young women are commonly given money by random strangers

It's been established on this sub that men are also much more impressionable when it comes to fairytales like Disney movies. Even getting angry that they feel they've been "lied to" upon learning that it's no more than fantasy storytelling

Why the lack of basic critical thinking?
