Yeah I think I fall into this category. I believe all the red pill stuff but just like you said putting into practice just grosses me out. I just go the route of trying to be my best self. I work out pretty obsessively work as many hours as I can and I put a lot of effort into my appearance. It works ok. In the last two years I’ve slept with three women, all of whom I considered to be really attractive and with good personalities. They all left after a few months though, and ended up with guys who have money and/or sell drugs. That part doesn’t feel great. But I just try to keep my head up and keep going. I think at the end of the day I feel better than if I had compromised my integrity, no matter what kind of results it gets.

What does being decent entail, it is a rather subjective term.

Also I don't get why men are supposed to be decent considering the conditions they are in, since one could view the modern dating culture as a fierce competition between men in order to be able to get the best partner they can, so men who are able to gain the most experience will in theory be able to attract the best woman they can, so they have a strong incentive to pump and dump, since the initial attraction phase becomes a critical factor in their long term success, and practice makes perfect.

In order for men and women to be moral a system which rewards moral behavior and disincentive immoral behavior should be in place, the current one doesn't strike me as such a system.

Yes. It's one of the reasons I've given up on dating. I'd have to turn into someone I truly don't want to be, and I'd rather just be happy alone than have to string someone along, play constant psychological games, so on and so forth. I know the person I want to be in a relationship isn't what creates long-lasting relationships and families, so I'd just rather not have them. Not only that, but I don't want to sell my soul just to qualify risking everything down the road with divorce, accusations, etc.

It's not ideal, but it's the choice with which I can live peacefully and happily.

If you want to be a decent human being, then you should encourage good behavior and discourage bad ones. Being RP does not prevent this. In fact it help you in identifying what good behaviors to incentive and what bad behavior to not reward.

Every now and then you see a refreshing post about a woman that married young as a virgin and takes care to maintain her marriage, and you do see voices of encouragement. But, by and large, women exhibit mostly bad behavior within the sexual marketplace, so that's what gets focused on. I don't respect these women, and you shouldn't either. They don't deserve it. By giving them the same respect as women with good behavior you are basically rewarding bad behavior. Its a disservice to the men and women that actually did live a proper life, to be treat the same as them.

"Respecting all people" is an ambiguous phrase.

When people try to tell me I "don't respect <XYZ demographic>"... I ask them "have you seen me spit on someone of <that demographic>?" and when they respond "no", I tell them "That's me having general respect for those people. If they want more respect than that, then they need to earn it on an individual level. If they can't do that, well, that's on them, not me."

That's the masculine (i.e. red-pill) version of how "respect" works.

Now apply that logic to the sexual marketplace, and you'll see most of the problems are because of the change in female behavior-- i.e. they have largely shifted towards "spitting on decent men" (figuratively speaking), while simultaneously destorying their own respectability as trustworthy, reliable relationship partners themselves.

Male behavior now is largely the same as it always was (i.e. there's always been "players" who don't commit, weak men who women don't want, and properly "balanced" commitment-minded, maturely masculine men in the middle of those two), but the behavior of women is what has completely flipped on its head... where they used to actually police themselves and push undesirable women out of their social circles so men knew where to look for them, now they're using "equality" as an excuse to encourage each other to act like low-class men, spoilied princesses, etc., then they're turning around and complaining that they aren't getting the attention from decent men.

Back in the days "before the dating market got worse", the red-pill was actually ingrained in our culture on a societal level.

Used to be “red pilled” when I was a frustrated little 17 year old coming off a bad relationship. But once I started getting dates and meeting actual women I realised there were actually beautiful women who would spoil you and be loyal to the core for you. In fact I’ve got one now (so far). I realised that red pills are aspects of bad women, in the same way a woman’s red pill would be a man smashing and leaving.

Red pill is full of half truths. Like yeah sure a woman picks the “strongest male” or whatever but is that surprising given the fact that we as males pick pretty females? It isn’t unfair it’s just a fact.

I am 100% red pill and I don’t like the TRP subreddit, way too much incel content with guys complaining about women. To me, being red is being alpha and mastering sexual strategy so you can have a great with women. Whining gets you nowhere, and for alphas there really isn’t much to whine about.

I like being a good man, I also want to be seen as high value when it comes to dating. The constant mysoginy annoys the hell out of me from redpillers, but so does the lying coming from the other side about how to get women's attention. Instead, she is selfish and focused on extracting as much value from you as she can, and she couldn't give a shit about you, in fact, if you ever act weak around her, she will puke and lose all interest in you.

Could someone define what a decent human being would be in this case? In my experience you don't necessarily need to be a bastard son of a bi*ch to get attention from women. It takes a lot of work into your appearance and confidence in what you're doing. Most of all, it also takes the will to explore opportunities for romantic conquests when they take form in front of you. By that I mean not being afraid to ask numbers and show interest at the first sign of interest, and in my personal experience that's the hardest part most men are too dumb or clumsy to put in practice.

I guess this applies to me in some ways even though I never call myself red pilled. I am cynical and constantly argue against the latest iterations of feminism and their impact on society and the game as a whole. I see attractive women live on easy mode and abuse it. But I don't have that bitter asshole attitude that seems to come with the pills (red or blue).

I actually love women. In real life, most of my friends are women and they are nothing like the people I argue with or about here. They are free individuals, and I value personal freedom above all. I also happen to be in a long-term relationship, and a happy one at that, so maybe I am exposed to far less bullshit than other people are.

Still, it seems to me that many red pill men deeply unhappy and put all the blame on women -- just like many feminists are so unhappy and blame it all on men. They get more extreme by the day and the game gets dumber and dumber. I guess it's easy for me to say, but I'd rather be alone than play this game. I am happy on my own, and that is the best starting point to be happy with the good people you meet.

For being so upset about how many women interact with them nowadays, I am surprised at how fixed on women they are and how they still try to play this game. This will only lead to more unhappiness and resentment.
