I've actually gotten pretty good dating advice from women, but they were genuine friends who were brutally honest with me and didn't sugarcoat things like they might for a fat pimply faced cellar dweller neck beard..

One time, my female friend straight up told me that if I called the girl I was talking to trying to apologize to her for getting angry at her for flaking on me, I would look pathetic in the eyes of the girl I offended.. This girl was (I would consider) pretty red pill herself, conservative, against abortion, hated feminists etc.. I also had a phase in my teenage years where I had poor hygiene and didn't shower regularly where this girl told me multiple times "you fucking smell like shit".

I had another female friend who straight up told me that girls aren't going to stick around with a guy who's a negative whiny little bitch all the time who can't act like a man and suck it up.

I think the notion of "bad dating advice" is pretty gender neutral. In fact, I've probably got more bad dating advice from men than I have from women. Most women I hear giving advice are always encouraging men to "look sharp" have good hygiene, and just generally not be some fat fucking lazy loser who sits around playing video games in their underwear all day.

The only women who say "just be yourself" or "your great just the way you are!" Are your mom and grandma, and it would be a disservice if they didn't do that for you because you need someone who's gonna love you no matter how much of a fucking loser you are if you want to get somewhere with your life.

If you really want to get laid all you need is to display sexual openness. Of course this sounds way easier than it actually is. Women at the clubs are just as unsure if you want to bang them as you are. You can be the man they are looking for if you make it very clear but in a not overt way that you are able and want to take her home. Even if you are unattractive some of these women will go with the ugly but sexually comfortable guy over the good looking but bashful guy, because its just human nature to go with the sure thing, especially women who aren't big risk takers anyways.

Except relationship and "how to get laid" advice are two separate things. I doubt a ton of women would be interested in helping men get laid if it was the typical PUA use em and dump em approach.

As to relationship advice market, I'm sure there are plenty of women marriage/couples counsellors and women who publish books on the topic.

LOL! No. No, we mostly wouldn't. Some women do, actually, help men in exactly that way- but the majority of us aren't interested in helping men in general pump and dump women in general. I mean, duh. By the same token, most men aren't out there teaching women how to use men for their own gain and then ditch them, either.

I just usually say nothing. I'm pretty brutal with advice and once made the mistake of telling a guy to not go through with his marriage the night before the wedding. I was just the plus one. And they got divorced six months later. I'm not about to tell a person I care about what they really need to change, because change needs a motivated person, and I'm not good at breaking the news.

There are lots of other possible reasons for there not being (more) female "pua's". The first one I can think of is that women may find it deceptive and don't want to contribute to it.

Women have no idea what they want? That's a pretty broad statement. There are lots of common factors in female attraction. They like physically attractive partners of course, and generally speaking, are more interested in the social and financial status of their mate.

You think any man would need a pua if he was a billionaire that look liked some 20 something handsome celebrity? No way. Of Course women know what they want.

I mean, I'm female and have gotten my friends laid pretty easily. But I'm also a lesbian so I have some experience with this. I do think the fact that most women don't have experience in picking women up could hinder their advice-giving abilities. But if you meet a socially savvy woman, she probably can teach you a few things.

It would make sense that if women give the best advice on how guys can get laid, there would be more female pua's and coaches consulting with guys looking to get laid.

Ehh, I dunno about all that.

In my area, you can actually hire women to be your wing man for the night and coach you through talking to the ladies.

Approaching a girl is 95% of the battle, and if you have a female wingman to help you make that initial contact, it doesn't take long before you can start doing it yourself.

Yea I dunno, I've heard some of the "harsh truths" from women, and I've heard lots of men who either give BP platitudes or literally have no input to offer at all. I think it depends on establishing a friendship with the person where they feel like they can be honest. If someone doesn't feel like they know you well enough to share their real opinions with you they will just give you the "safe" bullshit answers, and honestly I can't blame them for that. You don't want to say controversial stuff if you don't know what you might be stepping in.

I would tend to agree that many women do give terrible advice to guys because they can't separate what their hubby/boyfriend does from who he is. Women are only attracted to the whole person. I had a crush in high school who was ridiculously hot. Then I saw him bullying some freshman. He literally stopped being sexy to me. Not, I lost interest in dating him. I actually lost physical attraction to him.

So, I think it's not only that women don't know what they want. Their attraction is so complicated, they can't easily pull it apart piece by piece. The same actions that are offensive or stalkerish are romantic and sexy when done by your boyfriend and not a random guy. And, complicating this, women need both beta comforting actions and alpha leadership actions in a relationship. And one woman has no idea what another woman is lacking from her guy unless she knows the woman very, very well.

Yep, i agree with the op. On relationship advice, most women will say even stuff that won't really help you much or get anywhere near conquering them, it seems like most of them don't really take an objective look at what they really want, and say redundanct things like "be nice"/"be yourself"/"bring up your charm". Like, really? Wow, i couldn't figure that out at all if it wasn't for them. :/

Really depends. I've had some girls who gave really good advice - including a friend who spent almost 30 minutes going over different types of touch, from friendly to sexual. And girls who have made me approach women less as objects and more as people, which I've noticed has had a huge effect on my success.

And I've had dudes give me just god awful advice. And a dude once gave me advice so good I used it to fuck his girlfriend.
