Is there a male equivalent of a gold digger?

Normally I'd give a lecture about how men and women are different and the implications this has when making comparisons. (Like sex/commitment) , but your question has me stumped. It seems the only equivalent of the female gold digger is the male golddigger and even they're somehwhat different.

Let me explain, one would think that going by the previous rubric the equivalent of the golddigger would be the sugadaddy. (Sex for resource so Resources=sex?) but it's an imperfect analogy. Unlike sex and commitment both relatively cheap in that they can be given away as much as possible based on the owner's wishes......

Resources must be earned, they have to be fought for, worked for...... they do not just appear to the sugadaddy..... sex on the other hand comes just by the virtue of having working genitalia and possibly hitting the genetic lottery.

So men end up (relatively) better off in the public eye than women for having a sugardaddy relationship, because in their eyes he "earned" his young blonde, even if they think he's stupid for getting with her. All she had to do was be pretty and have a vagina.

In a way, male golddiggers are the same as females in that they give the fruits of a relatively easy labor for resources (which must be earned), but a huge difference is that men don't have that position available to them because it's incredibly hard to get a female to part with her resources for sex...... which is why we don't see so many of them.

There are some guys out there who don't mind forgoing the fiscal power dynamic for a nice lifestyle.

Also where I grew up there are plenty of slacker men who manage to find themselves women who literally take care of them (pay for them, feed them, house them) all because "dick game too strong" and general lack of self worth.

These men are the equivalent of women who are able to manipulate rich men due to "pussy allure."

Serial gold diggers of both sexes prey on people who who don't mind trading resources for eye candy/ sex / validation. I don't judge. Their system works.

Surely there are men who behave this way? There might simply be more opportunity for women to do it because a) I'm guessing there are more rich men than rich women, and b) maybe women are less likely to be interested in men purely for their looks.

But at the same time, women could develop true attraction to a man because of his "gold". Women are turned on by status/power/success/achievement in the way I'm getting the sense men are not. So some of the women who get branded as "gold diggers", might actually genuinely love the men they are with and are not exploiting them for their resources.

Men who fit these words exist and have existed throughout literature. Often as a source of humor as it goes against gender stereotypes.

If you're asking about parallels within the traditional view of gender then obviously you could say it'd be a man who is too willing to buy shit and give money to women he's dating.

Sure there is. The number of jokes about musicians and other artists being homeless without a girlfriend is practically a cliché. ;)

In my experience, women are as much gatekeepers of commitment because male humans want to be loved as much as female humans, and there's a whole swathe of people whose sexuality is tied into pair bonding. Hell, TRP is going on and on about a woman's cooking for a reason- it's a tangible symbol of love via caretaking. Indeed a lot of them frame even sexual availability as a form of appetite satiation.

And for me, one of the things that curtails my possability of sexually promiscuous behaviour is that something about how I interact with the opposite sex seems to put me into the future wife/girlfriend zone. I must just screen all the guys looking for easy by my behaviour in relation to them, but for all that the opposite sex is said to want to cum and run, an awful lot of guys seem to be here for the cuddles.

Sure, it's someone who lets his partner walk all over him even has he or she transcends the initial boundaries discussed and placed by both parties without further discussion after the fact. In fact, I think that's a gender-neutral form of it. Asking for more where you originally didn't agree to it. Like an abusive relationship. Like a relationship with a redpiller.

In terms of giving away emotion/being a bluepill betabitch then the closest I can think of in my urban vernacular is a "simp", "timeho", or "maxipad", man he straight "simpin". Though in terms of a man playing wealthy women up for that, I dont think there is a word...but itll prolly contain their favorite comparison "dog". So frauddog or some weak shit. Hard to say since men are better than women in terms of not giving a fuck about some random chicks wealth.
