Everyone is too trusting, people think that someone they find charming must be a good person because subconsciously people don’t like to think they would like someone who is bad. People like to think they can spot bad people. Until they have an experience meeting a con artist or two faced person they might not change.

because when you start to become and transition into the "player," you see things you only heard about but didn't think was real life. I always was the guy who made friends with women first and asked out those to do things who showed interest. however not all of those women who showed interest were single but were open to dates and physical intimacy. it caught me by surprise the first couple times because physical intimacy was there and we were actively going on dates, however you find out eventually they are dating someone else and acted as if they were single to have their cake and eat it too. the first couple women it happened to I thought it was a fluke, but little by little it became more and more common. always thought they wanted a new boyfriend and that's why they were courting me but sometimes it was and wasn't the case.

its not a don't trust them and trust myself kind of ordeal, you just become more aware of what's going on and don't play for it. you can play black pill and just date and plow anything which gives you an opportunity or you can have morals and not once you find out. I've been on both sides, after a couple years it drains you psychologically and emotionally, thus you not play the games year after year.

Couldn't this just be sampling error? The type of women to sleep with players are the type of women to be less trustworthy. The mistake would be to generalize that finding to the female demographic at large.

I mean if you see people that way you’ll attract them. I’ve met a lot of players who would say that women lie, are sneaky, etc but these men were also..assholes and Fuck boys. You attract what you put out there and being distrustful will only introduce you to broken trust. I feel really sorry for anyone who generalizes in this way. I trust all my friends male or female, and ditch the people who make me wary or do me wrong. Having a dick or vagina has nothing to do with it.

Hey, since we’re claiming to know everything about everyone based on our own personal anecdotes, I’ll chime in.

I’ve never not trusted a partner. Or a friend. That’s why I’m with them. I can tell what kind of person someone is after hanging out a couple times and if they don’t have the personality of a trustworthy person, I do t hang out with them anymore.

Don’t concern yourself with people that you believe are bad or untrustworthy. It’s a waste of everyone’s time.

My relationships, platonic and romantic, have always been awesome and nobody ever lets me down. I hold myself to the same standards and expectations as those I surround myself with, and so far it’s worked out wonderfully.

If your social circle is comprised of cheaters and shit talkers, players and sluts, you’ll continues to see this kind of untrustworthy behavior and it will continue to degrade your faith in humanity and perception of society. I suggest you distance yourself from that circle and make room for the kind of people that make you feel good. They’re everywhere.

If you have a difficult time finding them, it’s because they’re distancing themselves from you.

I should have learned faster than I did. I played baseball at a fairly high level where you are traveling or college summer team team that is 80% Chads. Wherever we were we pulled waitresses, girls that worked at the ball park, gas stations, hotels, the mall, etc. If a girl was decent then somebody on the team was making a run at her and getting her to bring as many friends as possible to the game and hotel that night. Most had boyfriends and would talk about them for awhile. They would say they were just there with their friend (who also had a boyfriend). A few drinks later they are talking dirt about their boyfriend and shortly after they are getting railed. It was the perfect situation for them, a big group of fun attractive guys that they will never see again.

Despite seeing that take place over and over and participating regularly, I thought there were other girls that were not like that. And not all girls are like that at all times... but given the right timing they are

Put yourself in a womans shoes... guys will do anything for you, so why not take advantage? If it's easy... why not? Women devalue men because men put themsselves in positions where they allowed themselves to be devalued.

Call them on their game... and play beyond the game. If men stopped doing shit for women and being so fucking thirsty, this problem would soon disappear.

Very true. Over the last several decades I've been lied to by women a lot more than I've been lied to by men. Guys need to treat interactions with women like diplomats treat interactions with foreign powers. You can trust but always verify. And most importantly never make any serious commitment until the woman in question has a long verified track record.

I've seen or heard women say and do the following regarding their significant and not so significant others. Context is provided where needed.

-multiple bartenders who have customers bring them food. This can range from a number two combo to a home cooked meal. They mock "guys who bring me food" with other bartenders.

-current and ex lovers who had short dicks, came too quick, were great at cunnilingus but only because they were overcompensating for the aforementioned short dicks.

-married women who brag about having their husbands wrapped around their fingers. These men, on the surface, look like rootin tootin macho men replete with excessive facial hair and pickup trucks.

-more infidelity than I could list in a dozen reddit posts

-"pack mules" (my term, not theirs). Basically men who lift heavy boxes, repair cars, do major household repairs or pay $$$ to have these things done. Basically a male harem to perform "boyfriend tasks" or honey do lists without the benefit of intercourse.

-and they love to talk about who's in their DMs. I've seen women scroll through pages of text messages while reading out loud a private exchange between her and some guy.

I could go on but you get the idea. My advice: trust noone.

I don't disagree with your whole point but let me say this:

No matter who the player is no one has a close to 100% success rate with taken women. We don't really know how many are unfaithful, except survey values which provide us with a lower bound, which is almost certainly an underestimate.

I understand the shock of seeing a girl who looks good on the outside turn out to be a cheater, but that does not mean there are no really good girls out there.

Eh, I think your data is skewed by the person you're getting it from. Let's hypothesize the existence of a woman who isn't all those things you mentioned, she's not a cheater, she doesn't shit talk her guy behind his back, she doesn't drop him without a thought because she's bored. Would this hypothetical "good woman" be very interested in the player type? Not likely, because she also wants someone who's serious about forming a real connection, and the player just has a lot of casual sex. So she doesn't send flirty vibes to the player, he moves on without worrying cause there are plenty of women who are interested in him, and he never hears her perspective. You doubt that the good women exist, but if they do, it's not likely that you'd hear about them through the kind of men you're consulting as experts.

A lot of people trust some people more than they do and attraction makes that worse. Except women get that way with a minority of guys. Guys get that way with way more women.

Here's something interesting to consider. Those players you speak of who don't trust women. They can't trust themselves either. They are projecting. They know that a woman SHOULDN'T trust them because they are not trustworthy. If they know that about themselves. It's not a difficult thing to do to apply the same thing on the women they are chasing. "You can't trust them either".

Truth is its never an exact science. 50% of people are too trusting. 50% of people have trust issues where they don't trust people that they can trust. 50% of people are fucking liars. 50% of people are actually honest but nobody trusts them because of the other 50%. Obviously I pulled those numbers out of my ass, the context makes a big difference on where the real %s lie. But it doesn't really matter the point is people are different. Some people are trustworthy some people are not. Some people trust too much, some don't trust enough.

It is less about trust, and more about getting in the habit of not creating vulnerable situations for yourself.

All in all, if you are a man, your emotional, financial and strategic/logistical life should be self-supporting and independent: you should not trust ANYONE with those things, and not even need to. Trusting women with silly, unimportant stuff is ok.

BTW, there ARE good women out there, but a different definition of good. Not your boring Goodie Two-SHoes virgin girl next door, but your female equivalent of a rational player: a financially independent woman who rides the carousel and admits it, and can get into an "understanding" with an equally capable male.

I would never trust a girl in so far as I would never become financially or emotionally dependent upon her. I have seen some really bad behavior from normal looking women after they have gotten a bit drunk. In general women are less likely to admit to cheating IMO. But I have a hard time believing women don't cheat substantially more.

Hm, on one hand I get what youre saying and theres nothing worse than giving someone your complete trust only to find out youve been lied to and disrespected all along. That being said, idk if not trusting people by default is so much better. As much as ive seen people who were too trusting, Ive also seen soooooo many people be too insecure when they had no reason to. As a woman, I know how the cheating stats are and how men tend to work, but I think I'll prefer to keep my trusting nature and trust my people Judging skills and if that ends up screwing me over then at least I can come out of it knowing I did nothing wrong and the other person was just not for me. I feel like I'd feel worse if I screwed something good up by not trusting them just because I didn't want to risk potentially looking like a fool if they happened to be a liar than if I just did my part right and trusted them until they broke that trust. Either way, if someone ends up being a dick, you're not going to be happy, so why risk being the dick yourself just to avoid looking oblivious? There are worse things you could be - like an untrustworthy prick, for instance. Take it with a gain of salt though cause this is coming from someone who's never been betrayed or cheated on before so maybe I'm just gullible and pure still. So be it..

Yep my friend who's a 26 year old virgin often gets defensive and mad at me for starting to get cynical about the whole dating situation. The players are more cynical than me.

I think the real thing to remember is at the end of the day most people are lazy, shallow and stupid. They're not bad people but they are definitely willing to excuse bad behaviour under a fuckton of circumstances, and engage in it under almost as many.

Men respond to dominance hierarchies very quickly. Who's "top dog" or "alpha" will be obvious and most guys will fall into play. Power is power so a lot of the time it's somewhat begrudging, but they allow it anyway.

Women respond to nonverbal social cues, hints and intuition. If you realise this and can play that game you start to become extremely cynical about how much you can get away with as long as you advertise it well.

The real difference is people recognise the dominance hierarchy reliance as at least partially toxic, are aware of it and are critical. People aren't critical of women's focus on manipulative nonverbal games, so they're not doing anything to mitigate it and they're easy to game if you are cynical enough to do that.
