It does a very bad job of describing my experience, or the experiences of the various women in my life. From what I've observed it doesn't even do a great job of describing what men are like, since it's based on a bunch of highly neurotic sad-angry dudes looking at each other and deciding that everyone with a penis is fundamentally exactly like them.

Sometimes they're accidentally right because they're describing a universal human behavior except they think only women do it.

Maybe you could be more specific about certain things? I don't agree with the red pill description of women as it pertains to some things. I'll go down and name a few things.

Hypergammy and branch swinging - not all women will branch swing to a better option if one is presented to them because some women prioritize long term gains over short term gains and see leaving or cheating on their husband for a whim as a really bad idea.
Solipism - I don't think it's an exclusively female trait , so I don't agree this even applies to all women to the extent the red pill philosophy makes it out to be compared to men.
Being the oldest teenager in the house - I think lots of women can be adults as an adult. Our brains develop, our experiences mold us etc.
Hypoagency is preferred - not my experience
Not intellectual or rational - not my experience

What else is there I wonder.

This is a good example of what I think Red Pill type reasoning gets it wrong here. They are obsessively analyzing relationships and creating a taxonomy for everyone they meet, they assume that women must do it too.

They also assign a lot of intention to women keeping beta orbiters, friendzoning men etc. But just from my experience- I do not- nor do the women I talk to think or do this. It just comes off as odd to me.

Whether it's accurate or not in describing my behaviour has nothing to do with how real it is; and that is exactly the problem I have with this, and the blue pill, and all the other dumb pils, that it's sort of based on the assumption that there is some way "how females think, how females act" and "how males think, how males act" and yadibla.

There is no pill, or grand philosophy that describes human behaviour, or the behaviour of most other animals for that matter.

That having been said, given that I'm uninterested in "relationships", "marriage", and "shared finances", it probably does a pretty poor job at describing my behaviour indeed.

Most women don't have these exotic sexual histories, AF/BB isn't real, women are no more likely to be immature or solipsistic than men, women don't fall out of love any faster than men do, and initial sexual attraction is a shit predictor for overall sexual attraction, let alone overall relationship quality.

I acknowledge the red pill as a concept, men and women are different blah blah blah, but I've seen mostly the reverse IRL. A lot of the behaviors RP men describe are things I see mostly men doing. Women aren't angels, women do bad things, women can do what RP men are saying they do, sure. Maybe a better way to say what I'm saying is men might be right on their observations, but they're applying male motivations and intentions to female behaviors.

Things like "men are more ruled by pure logic, women are just emotional" are so funny to me. It's not logic, it's ego, being ruled by either is no better or worse than the other. Ego/"logic" wants to be right, wants the truth, the emotions/intuition are a guidance system. A lot of dudes over on TRP never get past the anger phase and come up with all kinds of ways to make women out to be inferior because we're not men.

I am not dumb enough to be a plate or give Chad a blow job in the bathroom, I don't care what he looks like or who he is. It has not to do with me being virtuous or not like the other girls is has to do with me wanting to have a vague sliver of dignity intact. If you are a working class woman and you fuck up or fall in love with a loser you are gonna pay for that mistake 10 times over. If you are a UMC woman and you date or marry some loser, your parents will give him a job or use connections to get him one. So all these people making fun of trashy women making mistakes just do not see the mistakes UMC women make.

I disagree with the way they make out relatively normal, universal human behavior to be either a wicked conspiracy against men or a sign of women’s inherent inferiority (ie “hypergamy”, ”female” solipsism). But some of the female tendencies they describe and the ways men can play to those tendencies are also accurate (ie women like men who are physically strong and act like leaders, so be physically strong and act like a leader.) If it wasn’t for the unfortunate ties to far right politics and the bizarre cult of male superiority that are at this point inextricable from the whole concept of the red pill, I would be much more on board.

describing my personal behaviour? probably like 15% accurate.

the red pill is rooted in truth, women are attracted to confidence, women are attracted to masculine physical strength, women are attracted to ambition, drive and maturity. of course they're attracted to these things, usually they're good traits to have in a partner!

but there is little to no nuance in this, and it completely over generalises 3.5 billion people.

i like confidence and when men are very accomplished in a difficult field or hobby, and i enjoy maturity. i also really like emotional vulnerability, and my 'type' is the opposite of a typical chad, very feminine, emotionally vulnerable/open, incredibly gentle, kind, patient and soft. i really prefer taking the lead in the relationship, but i like when my partners are able to sustain themselves and problem solve without me.

i think a lot of behaviours the red pill advocates for (dread, treating your partner like a child, 'taking charge') would be huge red flags for me, and if man i dated behaved like this i would break it off immediately.

No, the red pill is not valid or accurate in describing female behavior or minds.

The red pill is a collection of men who have experienced great difficulties in negotiating relationships and sex. Their experiences are filtered through that lens.

They will only ever be accurate about small groups of women who interact with men like them, not the whole.

They are accurate about men like themselves benefiting from improving themselves. If they'd morph into a place that helped men like themselves improve, and they left the red pill mindset far behind, they'd have validity.

If you're a man who has tried it and it didn't work they will say 'you didn't do it properly' if you're a women and you say it doesn't work, they will say 'you don't ask a fish about fishing'

The idea that women hit a metephorical wall at the tender age of thirty is something I find hilarious. Conversely, it's dubbed the 'squirty thirties' because that's when sex gets really good for women. This whole concept was fabricated as revenge fantasy for these men. It is comforting knowing that all the women who turned them down in their younger years are now sad and lonely and regretting it. But this simply isn't the case.
Hypergamy. There's this idea that women with SMV of 5, will only date 'up' to 6s and 7s - meaning that subsequently all men struggle to date their 'equals'. The problem with the SMV concept is that it lacks nuance - attraction is very subjective, I also think that a lot of these men overstate their SMV score which gves the illusion of hypergamy.

Both men and women want the best they can get, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, especially when you're planning something serious.

Evolutionary theory and sexual behaviour. Even the greatest anthropologists and scientists know very little about the roots of human sexual behaviour. Not only that, but lots of different theories contest one another. To base your life around a handful is incredibly stupid.

If we're to rely on just shared knowledge regarding female behaviour, that is equally unreliable. Everyone on here has totally different experiences with women, and like I said in the first point - it doesnt help that when something doesn't go according to TRP, they tell you that you 'didn't do it properly'.

lastly I would be VERY sceptical of ANY movement that has to keep telling itself and others that it's the 'truth' - I wasn't instantly put off as soon as I understood the red pill and blue pill metephors

Not much, but not sure if it's because I've been an oddball my entire life. I suspect I have a touch of the 'tism. I don't go for "chads", I don't go for looks though I can admire them afar, and I've always avoided/broke it off with men if I felt they were dumber than me. I don't consider myself that smart at all either--it's just that dumber men are a huge turn off.

Also, some redpillers explanations get so extreme ("women can never be empathetic, EVER!") that they seem completely cartoonish. Women might as well be silent-movie-era villains, twirling our mustaches and scheming over how to divore-rape our husbands at every turn.

The one stereotype I could say closest to my experience is the "not knowing what I want." I've met only a subset of women who are extremely focused on their goals. And for my terribly generalized and deterministic explanation of the day, I ascribe it to fluctuating hormones, which seem to affect women throughout their lives (puberty/menstrual cycles/pregnancy/childbirth/menopause.) Whereas for men its puberty/childrearing/slow and gradual decline of T.)

If you want to boil it down to the basic philosophical levels though, everybody "thinks" they know what they want, but it's all biological and social programming anyway. We're terribly inefficient robots programmed to like things and dislike others.

The only people I've known to break through this programming are experienced meditators and psychedelics users who witnessed their selves and saw the illusions of human existence on an entirely different level.

TRP’s broad strokes are just human nature in edgy language. Dread is just eliciting a little jealousy (we’ve all done it), negging is just flirty teasing (we’ve all done it), abundance mentality is good/oneitis is bad. Their descriptions of women’s nature are true of a certain segment of women, which are the ones they teach you to target so I guess that makes sense. It doesn’t describe my behavior but then TRP isn’t promising to help you get laid by a middle aged married mom and government bureaucrat who plans dinner parties and youth football banquets.

TBH in my youth I was just too smart and had too many options to fall for it. I know that sounds conceited but that’s what I mean when I say TRP is about helping men who can’t get easy sex get easy sex and that shit works on a specific segment of women.

Yes, it’s real. The only reason I ever went down the RP rabbit hole is because it spoke to me.

It spoke to me about my own (stupid) behavior, why I was attracted to “big dick energy” over any other logical and safe choice. I’m still more attracted to a mans attitude than his muscles. It explained why I lost attraction in my relationships.

It’s not so black and white to say, I want alpha fucks, I want Chad.

But it did happen in all of my personal experiences. The fantasies that I masturbated to. The way I would categorize the orbiters that I could get time, attention, favors, or money from. The instant lust I’d have for some guys, the pre-selection aspect of being attracted to my friends boyfriends.

All that being said, I have grown up and become less self absorbed. I’ve stopped viewing men and women through the lens of what they could do for me. But I’m still into the Red Pill. It’s a controversial view point, but it’s amoral. It is observed over and over again. Now I’ve moved on to the deeper levels of being in an LTR that I value. When I find I’m feeling off about my relationship ship, or attracted to someone else. I know it’s just because there was a bit of stress here, and some tingles over there.

And it doesn’t mean it’s the only correct philosophy about relationship dynamics, but it works for me.

Generally no. Most of that stuff is so absolutely contrary to all of my life experience that it sounds like it comes from an alternate earth that only superficially resembles our own.

The only things TRP types say that make sense are the most basic of observations. Simply being nice is not sufficient to make you attractive, it's good to have hobbies, young women receive many sexual advances, a lot of older women care how much money a potential partner makes because they need financial support to raise children, etc

Those nuggets of truth are surrounded by all kinds of ridiculous pop-psy shit like the idea that women aren't attracted to the men they marry, or that it's a bad idea to show emotion in front of women, or that it's a good idea to try to be "dominant" over women in life in general, or that women are usually inclined to "branch swing," or that women always cheat, or that backhanded compliments are "mysterious" and alluring to women, or that men only need sex and don't really need relationships. It's like Cosmo magazine on steroids.

The doctrine is also made to insulate itself from any contradictory information. They rationalize all of the information from actual women describing their actual experiences as "fish giving advice about fishing," or "female solipsism" because you can't have your mind changed by women if you don't think of them as fully human.

One of the basic tenants of red pill is never ask women what they think about red pill. Women often don't know their own behavior well enough to accurately describe what's going on, and they have too many biases, opinions and logical inconsistencies that don't connect with the reality of their actions. Red pill 101: don't listen to what a woman says, watch how she acts.
