From looking at some of these threads on here and claims made by women, it seems that the idea of average has been warped from what it once was. Before, average for both men and women use to involve a normal BMI or more accurately body fat percentage between 21-26% with no obvious facial deformities.

However, the 2014 study on weight in the US showed that 40.4% of women were obese, 9.9% were extremely obese and 26.5% were overweight. Most likely things have gotten worse since then as I'm hearing that this (see below) is now suppose to be the new average girl.

So do you think that the small minority of women who are normal BMI are now considered above average? Should men adjust their expectation of average to suit the what women say is the new average? Are men asking for too much for a woman of normal BMI?
