The Bible was written from the POV of the culture and society of the time. You would expect nothing less than having a patriarchal view, since men pretty much ran things back then. The view doesn’t hold nowadays, and nobody has written a new Bible. So a philosophy in which men are superior and women subservient seems like a natural approach for fundamental Christians. Sad but true.

Twisting scripture to become misogynistic isn't difficult in the slightest. It's what a large part of at least the more conservative branches of the evangelical Christian church in America does, usually under the guise of "male headship" with bullshit like "Paul says women are the weaker vessel". But Christ treated women as equals, elevated them to a similar stature to men in his day. And Paul also once said "neither slave nor free, Jew nor Gentile, man nor woman" in reference to being in Christ.

I do not believe either the red pill or misogyny has a place in Christianity or the heart of Christ. Tread lightly, man. To treat anyone as less than human by virtue of their looks or their sex is abominable.

EDIT: also, y'know, the greatest of commandments mentions no gender. Love thy neighbor as you would have them love you.

I’m not Christian but exRP. I would not waste any of your time affiliating with RP-related ideology. I have many Christian friends, some are traditional and some are progressive. If you’re looking for a traditional Christian relationship and advice on that, don’t go to an internet forum where any sleazebag could be telling you what to do, read the Bible, go to church, consult other Christians in person, ask Church members, ask your mom/dad/grandparents, pray. Religion isn’t for me but I am very familiar with it since being raised Catholic...even I learned that we are all equal in God’s eyes and that we are all made in His image...according to Catholicism the roles for men and women do differ and that’s fine for believers, what isn’t fine is using RP ideology to justify subjugation and try to pass it off as Christian when it really isn’t Christian at all.
