Scientist here! Admittedly a grad student in Ecology and not a social scientist, but I do know something about these subjects and have taken a lot of social science classes.

There is no scientific proof of "love". There's not even a proper definition of love. But there doesn't need to be. It's more of a philosophical/personal thing.

The idea of the "alpha male" (and beta male) comes from the idea of an "alpha wolf". The idea of an alpha wolf came from observations of captive wolf populations, which would be like basing all your conclusions about human social structures on the behavior of prisoners. It turns out wolves actually just form groups where the parents lead their offspring.

Most of the crazy bad redpill science comes from poorly understood evolutionary psychology. Evopsyc is the worst form of psychology currently active. Evopsyc is pretty poorly regarded by most of the rest of the psychological community. They have had some interesting theories, but their theories are all completely untestable, making them pretty unscientific. They also ignore social and cultural factors.

Not only that, but both crazy redpill science and mainstream evopsyc mostly ignore population-level evolution. In a population, if everyone is being "hypergamous" and fighting to be the "alpha male" the population as a whole is likely to die off. Humans require relatively large communities to survive, and those asshole behaviors are bad for the community as a whole. Everyone will be more successful if people take on a variety of roles, and cooperate rather than competing.

Ultimately, all we know about human behavior is that it is infinitely varied. People are weird and unpredictable. Human tastes vary so widely. Hotness is subjective. There's an assumption that attractiveness is innate and evolutionary, but different cultures find widely different body weights, amount of hair, eye, hair and skin color, scars etc... attractive. Hell, different people in the same culture find widely different things attractive. If everyone wants something different, then there can't really be a "marketplace".

Most importantly, evolution doesn't work the way redpill makes it seem. Evolution is literally just a mathematical principle that states that the better an organism is at reproducing, the more of that organism there will be. It's not a moral or psychological prerogative. "evolutionary success" doesn't mean "success" in the human sense.

Most modern humans have realized that having a bunch of kids isn't a great idea, despite that being the most "evolutionarily successful" strategy for couples. Hell, not everyone even wants to reproduce at all. Plus redpill can never really explain why there are gay, lesbian, and asexual (that's me!) people in the world, or why old people still fall in love and get married sometimes.

This sub is mainly just anecdotal stories because I don't think there is any counter research. I think the best way to move on from RP is to simply stop absorbing the material.

Can anyone say this is bullshit? More black pill then red pill but I haven't seen one valid criticism of the study.

Perhaps you should start by explaining your understanding of the red pill.

Red Pill is an analogy explaining that there's more to the world you're living in than what you've been led to believe. For the most part in the manosphere the core of red pill focuses on intersexual dynamics. You're asking for scientific proof to give credibility to the red pill. The thing is that it's part science and part observation.

So, let's explore some examples of observation that aren't necessarily red pill.

When fire burns you often see the colors red, yellow and orange followed by smoke. If you're close enough you can feel the heat. You also observe the things engulfed in flame burn and turn to ashes. I doubt you need to ask a scientist to cite sources and show you evidence that it is indeed fire you're experiencing.

Now you may ask a scientist to explain why fire has its properties and its effect and they can probably explain it to you. Still from your observation of what happens when fire burns that determines what actions you take. You also know what to do to start a fire or what not to do so you don't start one. You don't need a scientist for that do you?

So, the same applies to intersexual dynamics. If you pay attention you will start to observe trends and patterns. Like successful guys with status, money and good looks and game tend to get the ladies most of the time. Still intersexual dynamics has so many layers to it. There are social, scientific, political, economic and other practical reasons all playing a role. This is what the red pill tries to explain to you about the intersexual dynamics aspect.

While there's a scientific reason to hypergamy if you observe you will see that women aren't going and picking up homeless men and rehabilitating them to marry them even though that woman makes $1 million/yr. If you reverse the situation and there's a 23 yr old hot homeless stinky girl. Most men (with no option) might pick her up, clean her up, feed her and give her housing even if the intention is just to fuck her. So, what does this observation tell you about love and hypergamy even though the movies would show you something going against this observation.

My point is people who dismiss the red pill are simply people who don't get it, get it but find this discovery to painful to deal with and want to continue living in fantasy or just want to keep deceiving you by discrediting it.

Intersexually, the goal of the red pill is simply to expose the truth to you. So, that you an take action in directing the course of your life. That path might be to find a wife, bang random chicks, go MGTOW. It's your choice. If you choose to hate women as a result of it that is still a choice or you can use your knowledge to improve how you deal with women on a personal and social level.

Red Pill is knowledge of how the world actually is. How you use that knowledge is entirely up to you. If you take your emotions out of it, you will see it for what it is.
