I’ve been trying to deadlift and watching videos for 2 months but I can’t seem to get deadlifts, seems I don’t go far enough past my knees, and when I do I seem over extended.
When I come up I feel my back roll and sometimes some pressure in my lower back and pulling with my spine .
I know I’m doing it wrong. Is there a good substitute. I’m currently doing that recommended wiki guide.

Barbell row 110 - 12
Bench press -110 10
Squat 95 - 15
Workout B
Pull down 160 - 10
Overhead Press 105 - 9
Deadlift 110-8
If I’m being honest I’d rather not do deadlift or squat as both my calves and thighs are too wide as it is. I’d much rather lose an inch or two on both
