In this red pill journey I hear lots of advice but the most consistent other than not putting women on a pedestal is to become a high status male. I once had mentioned that maybe I could hack the system and maybe find a foreign woman, in that - I would be a high status male with less work - this was ridiculed, I was told I'm complaining by stating that it seems like the juice isn't worth the squeeze, that you should just suck it up and do the work to become awesome.

I wonder if that is biblical.

There is plenty of advice to marry if you want, I agree - there is also advice to not marry and not make plans.

8 Now to the unmarried[a] and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

I don't know if I can control myself - I haven't had luck so far! But, here's the ideal man:

  • Purpose - (which could be different from his job)
  • Good career / position (in my case 60+ hrs week)
  • High level physical fitness and nutrition (5-10 hrs a week)
  • Great social circle (5 hrs week)
  • Practice and learn game (5-10 hrs week)
  • Be well traveled (go on cool vacations)
  • Be well read / interesting (3-4 hrs week)
  • Be a leader in your church (5-10 hrs week)
  • Discple other men / evangelize (? hrs week)

This is without any recreation time - I'm getting somewhere around 90-100 hrs of activity.

It's funny, if you were to show this list to a guy like Henry David Thoreau he would probably laugh. Here's a quote from Walden:

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”

I am not complaining and I'm beginning to accept "that's how things are" or AWALT. It seems like a very empty investment to put all your time, energy and passion into making yourself awesome - to get a woman who is most likely attracted to you because you are the alpha of the moment (i.e. as some Red Pillers say, "if you find a unicorn - she's not yours, it's just your turn.")

Yes, Jesus is the answer to all this. A man and woman united in a purpose found in God will be and may be the only hope for this predicament. But I guess the question I have is, is a fickle hypergamous woman worth all that investment? I don't believe any woman is worth such a huge investment, hence why everyone seems to agree you should be on mission. I just find it very interesting that when you put everything down on paper, becoming a high status male in America is so much more than a full time job. It's funny, one guy said on my previous post - "get to work, you're falling behind". That's funny, we work like 70 hrs a week just for work/health and we are still not good enough or working hard enough to get a good female! we are falling behind! What an interesting life American's have sculpted.

Becoming a higher status male to sleep with more unfaithful women seems like a fool's errand.
