The typical TRP idea is that LDRs automatically veto you out of your frame because you're giving a woman emotional support without receiving the physical benefits of that relationship (SEX). This line of logic cannot be applied to the Christian because sex is reserved for marriage regardless of location.

Some potential problems I foresee could be a loss of frame, instability if the relationship exists only over text instead of video or wasted time if you met the woman online in the first place and they are only interested in your attention.

I know quite a few married, previously LDR'd, Christian couples. Some did not live in the same country until they decided on getting married, others lived three hours from each other. However I can't say that I'm aware of any couples like this in which the man is not plugged in.
