"Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. " - Galatians 6:1-2

Churchians fear women. This is a problem for Churchian pastors/priests because modern women are in rebellion, yet it is the pastor/priest's job to call out women on their sin and call them to repentance. One common way around this "problem" is to criticize, or "bash" men instead. As Dalrock noted, it feels bad to call out women, but it feels heroic to call out other men. It also allows the pastor to declare himself One True ManTM in the room and will be met with little to no outrage. (he might even be liked more)

Something less talked about, is that "men-bashing" is a form of virtue-signalling. By bashing men in a feminist age, the pastor declares to women in no uncertain terms that he is a servant of the Matriarchy. His job is made much easier by the hordes of churchian fans bending backwards to defend him with hilarious hamstering.

New redditor /u/PaterPip gives his spirited defense of prominent men-basher Paul Washer for his sermon titled "Recovering Biblical Womanhood", where Washer teaches men how to be women... while bashing men. Paterpip explains that bashing men is fine as long as there are no women watching:

I'm a big fan of man bashing, provided it is in the presence of men and done by a man. Ever been in a locker room? Or seen an OYS post on marriedredpill? How else do you toughen men up? Give them a hug? Pat them on the head? Whisper kind words? Talk about our feelings?

If for some reason, Christian women learn how to use the internet and can view publicly accessible videos on youtube, then it's still not okay to criticize women nor call them out on their sin because men are responsible for the rebellion of women.

He's spending a disproportionate time bashing men because he's talking to men, and men are ultimately responsible for the rise of feminism. WHHHATTTT.

The whole premise is that as the leader you own the mistakes of your subordinates. Men are the leaders of civilization, they always have and always will be. When women screw up, guess who gets the blame? Guess who God will judge more harshly?

I'm not saying women were or are blameless. They are sinners just as much as we are, but we bear the responsibility and the burden.

Why? Cuz we are men.

In this Churchian fantasy world, the king is responsible if rebels rebel. Captains are hanged for shipmens' mutiny and Christ is at fault for disobedient Christians.

It would be interesting to watch Paterpip talk about feminism in a normal audience of both men and women (as the Bible intended). Who would he blame? Who needs to repent? He can't call out men, because now there are women watching. He can't call out women either because they are "under man's authority".

Honest as Paterpip may be, as long as there are people in church with a fetish for seeing men thrown under the bus, and/or pastors who fear women instead of God, men will continue leaving the church in droves.
