Hey guys, I have a fitness/nutrition question for you all. First of all, I do lift. With that out of the way, my primary focus as an athlete has always been endurance sports. I am a former swimmer (high school and NCAA) and nowadays I do triathlons, half marathons, ect. I am also planning on doing a marathon in 2020.

I have always followed the traditional macro split of 50/25/25 for carbs/fats/proteins. I feel like this isn't getting me where I want to go though, and to better train on the coming year and lose a bit more body fat I have been doing some research on this topic. So far, I've found opinions all over the place - everyone has some miracle diet or another, and it all sounds like a load of bs to me.

My question - does anyone have recommendations for a macro split that would be effective for what I do and what my goals are?

Info on me - 178lbs, currently 15-17% body fat, 6' tall
