OP mentioned the study that says women's orgasms are better with higher-status men. I'm sure there's something to it; status and good looks probably produce a halo effect on how she remembers your sex, even if you were an objectively mediocre lay. First to answer your question, NO. Being 'good at sex' is as big a deal as being physically fit.
