What specifically are the problems that you're noticing?

There are many sources that will help you understand your strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. If your goal is self-improvement, you can find plenty of people and groups that will help you find your problem areas and develop realistic goals for attaining them - hell, some even use the same "rude awakening" tone. Point is, while TRP will often tell you that society hates their philosophy, no one is opposed to self-improvement. You're not alone in that regard.

TRP is one source of many. Don't feel like you need to restrict yourself.

Sometimes it's better to ask questions than it is to remain ignorant. If you don't know something, it is better to find out.

Now that you've discovered TRP, you know what it is like to be ignorant, don't be ignorant any longer.
