I think the best approach with trying to teach anything of your personal philosophy to children is little by little, as and when the topic arises. And lead by example.

My kids are 9 and 13. They both know that I meet many women, that I love their company, but that I don't want a girlfriend and plan not to live with a woman again. They also see the excellent relationship I have with their mother, my ex-wife. They see the love, the enjoyment, but also the self-interest pursuit of my own goals and the good of my family.

They ask questions about relationships and sex, or the topic naturally arises in conversation. I tell them what I think, clearly, but without unnecessary detail. I encourage them to think about what other people do in different situations and how they themselves would act. I tell them stories about women and men I meet, and I ask my kids what they think of their choices.

Seeing his sister and his mother and how they act, my son knows they are not the same as men. But he loves them. Recently he has been asking me how to deal with emotional women. He observes. He has quite a stoic attitude. He cares for them, but looks out for his own interests without being a dick. The younger he learns this, the better for everyone.

At his age your son is naturally going to feel shy in all kinds of situations. We all do at some point. Confidence is something we learn by pushing ourselves past the point we feel comfortable and discovering that the consequences are nothing as bad as our imaginations suggested. Then that test of ourselves becomes a habit. Then the habit becomes part of our character.

For example, my son, 9, used to be really embarrassed to talk to strangers. So when he wanted to buy something and we didn't know where it was, I would tell him to go and ask a shop assistant himself. I did it in a fun, kind way, but made it clear that if he didn't, I wasn't going to do it. It was a test, but also a game. The first few times he was really nervous. Then he discovered the sky would not fall down if he did it. And he got a reward from it: finding the thing he wanted. And now he does it automatically and gladly, so as not to waste his own time. He is now confident in those situations.

I would explain to your son that girls are nervous too. That people sometimes put on a hard exterior to mask their inner insecurities. That a man who sets his fear aside can open up possibilities of friendship, love and fun for himself and those around him.

I would also point out to him that acting selfishly to get the outcome you want can be beneficial for everyone else too. And, conversely, that giving others what they want can be self-interestedly beneficial. The important thing is the outcome, not chivalrous rules or pointless self-sacrifice.

Most groups of people are desperate for someone to lead them, or at least suggest a direction they can move in. Encourage him to be the first one to suggest something. Sometimes he will be laughed at (encourage him to laugh at himself internally); sometimes someone will have a better idea; often everyone will just do what he has suggested because no-one else has an idea, let alone a better one.

I would also give specific examples of scenarios with girls and how conversations and situations can work out (or not). Encourage him to set himself some tests: for example, getting a girl to help him with something unimportant, or convincing a girl to do something fun with him. Little, innocuous things that involve the same dynamics as any other form of persuasion.

I suggest letting him figure things out on his own with you guiding him here and there. For example you ask how it’s going with the girl from school, kid says something like “I did x but got y result.” You could then correct him by dropping a little bit of red pill on him. Make it something fun between you two.

When he gets older and has more experience and understanding of women and social dynamics in general you could show him the rational male and go more in depth with this stuff.

Ditch the alienating screens and do things together: Hike, Trim Lawn, Shopping, Cooking, Gym, Park Football/Frisbee etc.

To simplify hypergam, as I told my 14 yo brother, it's really simple, girls that age prefer good looking boys with nice haircuts and flexing the coolest street wear at school (I'd say at least not looking like shit but this is TRP so we're not gonna settle down for the minimum). They also like confident boys who can handle a fight, boys who are never bullied, therefore boxing or martial arts are an absolute must (not the faggy martial arts that are useless in street fights).

When I was 14 (and later on as a teenager as well) a lot of my self-confidence issues stemmed from the fact that, although I was athletic, had friends and had girls who liked me, I knew that I didn’t know how to fight. I knew that, if push came to shove, I wouldn’t know how to protect myself or my friends or my girl.

I wish my parents had pushed me into martial arts instead of away from it. If I could change one thing about my life growing up, I would have done jujitsu, kickboxing and mma. Most teenagers aren’t mentally mature enough to understand the benefits of things like meditation and mindset and whatnot (at least I wasn’t). But whether he actively tries to become more confident or not, he will become more confident and more “alpha” by learning how to fight.

In 4 years time, when he is 18, he will be confident that almost any man wouldn’t stand a chance against him, and when push came to shove he could hold his own. That type of confidence cannot be bought.

Aware him on Looksmaxing. Make sure he develops physically to the maximum in his puberty years. That he gets plenty of calories, and protein. Make sure he eats meat He should do a sport: swimming, basketball, volleyball, sprinting. He should start lifting weights too. Pull-ups and hanging often. Teach him mewing and height sublimals. Make sure he has the optimal hormonal / Testosterone profile for proper development. He should engage in at least one social activity. Make sure he doesn't get into video games or nerd habits.

If he has thin wrists or skinny build, he may be low T. It's critical to maximize this. Shyness is also a low T indicator and will set him up on lower scales of social hyerarchies.

I was beta-ish during that age too, and looking back at it, i exactly remember what could have been done.

It's a complex issue, but the core of it is physical endurance. He feels, or see himself weak-ish. Or sees others don't respect him.

I strongly suggest to regularly do some sport with your kid, altogether. Or figure out WITH HIM, what he want to train, and enroll him to some class.

If i could go back in time, and could only change or say one thing to myself it would be that i need to practice some sort of sport regularly. That benefits a man even decades later.

He wasn't around much but when he was, he often took me around on his plane and told me manly things, told me how to talk to girls and employers and employes. He taught me how to be quick-witted. You have to be living a RP lifestyle for him to do the same. Even then he would have questions, but that's when you would give him the small RP nuggets because overloading him with lectures certainly wouldn't be the way to convey this info to a 14 year old.

I'm not saying you need to try to find a new mommy for the kid. You didn't specify anything there so I'm assuming divorce since you're here and that she's not dead. That would also mean you would have to make any interactions with her, especially any he would see, would be conducted in your frame which would be the hardest woman to do his with since we tend to revert back to who we were when we're with people from our past. Either way, spinning plates or eventually promoting one to LTR, he needs to see his father having interactions with women in his frame, not the woman's. Not dating in years is not a very efficient way to do this.

I'm not saying he needs to see the women you date over at the house, though an occasional one might present an opportunity for a lesson here and there when he asks about the women you're seeing.

Short answer, live the RP principles so you don't become the Entrepreneurship professor that's never owned a buisness. Also, when you're watching movies or TV shows together, take moments to point out any RP truths. Get him into RP esque content like listening to Patrice O'Neal or something. Esse him into it with RP peripheral info, then eventually work towards giving him the Rational Male to read when he's a little more exposed.

The more he communicates with females the more he will learn. He speaks with the girls during the day, then tells you about it at night, help him see the mistakes he is making, give him suggestions on things to try and have him report back.

Have him focus on getting experience, which is not outcome dependent. Tell him he's gonna be bad at it for awhile but as long as he continues to try and work at it he will improve. There is no quick solution, the discomfort, the cringe, the failures all happen and will happen even as he gets better. You never ever get them all and so many times you can't fix it, and you couldn't have gotten it.

Things are out of the hands of us all and exposure and persistence get the results we all want. Tell him to go out there and fail, tell him to push hard to get to know the girls around him and get a feel for what they like, what they don't like, not what they SAY, but what they DO in reaction to his engagement with them and the actions he takes.

Be supportive, not authoritative. A 14 year old young man should be proud of independent achievement... that is the key to confidence and self-esteem, especially around women. You should find out what interests him and encourage him to get better at it, even if it sounds stupid to you.

Make sure he gets a job. Having money really helps with women, naturally.

The gym should be a given around here. “No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training".

Personally, if I was unable to take an active hand in shaping my son in social dynamics I would give him a copy of "The Game" over any of those other books out there and tell him to talk to me about it after he's read it.

Yeah, Neil is a bitch these days and you could call this a form of survivors bias but it did set me on the path to getting good with girls and it was an enjoyable read.

It will be more easily digestible and as a curious and eager teen it would be almost impossible for him to not try out some of the things purported in the book. When he sees that it still does it will set him on the path of success and failure that will help him become a better man.

Lastly, I would suggest after school activities. Whatever he has an interest in, get him into a club for it or have him shop around. This is how you make more friends and get accustomed to dealing with a variety of situations and personalities. It's how I became something of a social chameleon... with men. I went to all male schools growing up so I can deal with any type of man with ease but I was stunted when it came to girls.

He's 14 for fuck sake. Most guys are shy around girls and most girls are shy around guys at that age mainly because both genders are starting to understand their sexuality at about that time.
