I've actually never felt awful about mine but I do feel awful about how labia are being treated constantly. Everywhere. Can't even look at normal videos on social media without any crusty ass talking about "roasties". I don't get why people, usualy men, always have to make it about labia in some way. They're all good in the way they are. They're freaking labia. Its just sad something like labiaplasty is a thing. It's funny how so many men are so focussed on what labia look like. Lol, maybe focus on yourself.

I remember wanting labiaplasty since middle school and it was the worst feeling in the world. I still go back and forth with the way my labia looks. It just sucks growing up and hearing about how I’m supposedly a loose woman because of the way my labia looks when I’ve never even had sex.

Tbh I'm shocked that so many women are insecure about how their vagina looks. If a guy ever makes a negative comment about my vagina, I'll just happily replace him with a vibrator. Men don't get to make me insecure about my most intimate parts.

Also ladies, NEVER even think of getting a labiaplasty, look up "jessica pin - mediclit" on twitter and "jessica ann pin" on instagram. She is a woman who had a labiaplasty due to societal shaming, and she lost all clitoral sensitivity. She did heaps of research after her injury and found out that most medical professionals, including women gynecologists even, know NOTHING about female genital anatomy. Literally nothing.

So when she was operated on, they damaged nerves. And they are doing this to countless women because they simply DO NOT KNOW the structure of the vagina well. The structure of the vagina/vulva has never been detailed in ANY medical textbooks and it has always been this way. It's another level of sexism and misogyny at it's finest. PLEASE look it up and pass it on to all the women you know!

The plastic surgery/cosmetic surgery industry makes their money off of women's bodies, they need to uphold the lie that a "tucked in" vagina is the norm. I was so shocked when jessica pin made a post that showed actual research about the common types of labia. Turns out that labia which protrudes is the NORM! I had no idea, I always thought "innie" vaginas/vulvas were the norm, "innies" are actually the rare type!

I have in the past my late teens early 20s, googled how to loose weight down there and to get the perfect shave as I have been told in his exact words "Your vagina is too fat and hairy, the only saving grace is that you will be tight because you are small" because of what he had seen on porn. But the same went for breasts- because gravity affected them without a bra they were vulgar saggy and unattractive.

When we all come in different shapes and sizes, different volume of hair down there and we are all beautiful. I wish I hadn't spent so much time worrying that not only was I too fat but that I was supposed to have a flat small flat smooth female genitalia.

Luckily being single for years my toys don't seem to complain at all 😌

I absolutely love my labia and vagina! I feel that's where all my magic and essence of femininity reside. I've always been very conscious of my genital health and regularly look down to make sure everything is okay. I always thought it was beautiful and complex and even smells great with its natural smell! (Never understood douching and fragranced products). I remember the first time I got ejaculated in (pick me days) and it gave me my first yeast infection. I hated it and felt like my femininity had been taken away from me because of all the distress my vagina and labia went through because of the infection. Legit I nearly broke down. Thank goodness it cleared and I will never compromise the health of my lady bits again.

I find it so sad and terrible that another part of our bodies has been deemed "ugly" and needing to be "fixed".
