What I think of the two...

  • If you think it's a movement, you believe that it's anti-women and therefore don't understand the real reason behind the existence.

  • If you think it's a lifestyle, you believe that it has nothing to do with women despite everyone talking about the bs that they do.

Tbh, I believe that mgtow is about men only and building your life around ones self growth. Like the great Greg Adams says, "obtaining peace, happiness, and freedom. When I look at this sub, I see a majority of ppl always talking and posting about what women do, which shouldn't be the discussion topic. The true topic should be about building ourselves up and progress to success.

One thing I don't understand is why we don't have our own support system. I mean I kind of do understand it as it'll be difficult to build one with the many many infiltrators and cipher mentality red pillars in the community. I remember when we had a kik group. It was closed (obviously) because there was a weak security system put in place with no verification. But I digress...

Personally, I cringe everytime I hear someone say "MGTOW Movement" It makes it sound like a direct counter to metoo and feminism. Now while modern feminism is the most common reason why majority of men embark on the pilgrimage to their own way, it has nothing to do with the result, least in my opinion. Even on various YouTube vids, in the comments, it's always about the opposite sex when it shouldn't be. Sure reminders of why we go our own way is necessary, but at what point does it stop being a reminder and becomes the center of content?

Speaking of YouTube, I have a question for you. What is the difference between a content creator always asking for donations while ignoring people who don't donate and someone of the opposite sex charging people for pics and vids? Over the course of reinventing my lifestyle around my own way, various content creators like Darius M and Anthony Spade switching between red pilled content to dating advice. Now if that's your thing, that's your thing, but if the intention of mgtow is to focus on one's self, how does talking about how to attract a woman or women are attracts to these traits in a man (obtained from YouTube video titles)?

What are your thoughts on the Movement vs the Lifestyle?

Why do you feel it is one or the other?

Thoughts on the cipher mentality?

Would you continue the lifestyle (if you live it) if laws were changed to truly reflect equality?
