The rules people follow are self-imposed. It has them playing a rigged game at a constant disadvantage. Rules in a rigged game are designed to swindle the profitable participant (men). Women entered the workforce and marriage rates have fallen off a cliff.

The root of all social problems is economics. The false prophets of today would like you to believe that it's some sort of evil social force - perhaps race, perhaps gender, perhaps generic "oppression". It's always economics.

Women fought for equality and in many ways they have gained it. They have never been unhappier.

Our general answer here at the red pill is that the natural social order flows from the man on downward. This is an unbelievably controversial view in the modern age. The statistics back our view, however. Correlation and causation be damned, I can use my eyes.

Put simply, what this post is about is that giving women unlimited freedom does not make them happy. They cannot, as a whole, make choices that provide them that benefit over time when it comes to relationships. No amount of anecdotes against this point can change a trend.

If you want an LTR, it's time to grow out of that belief. That doesn't mean you'll never have one. It means that to do it correctly you court a bunch of women, provide your attention according to who treats you the best, and then it's her job to ask for it.

As a MGTOW guy, I can say that this is generally true.

Furthermore, there are no negative consequences for someone cheating like their used to be, and in fact many women are rewarded if they are in a marriage and decide to break it off and/or cheat.

Women who are getting older are seeing this stuff and realizing that they are damned to only be a piece of meat because they wasted their 20s. Thats why the #metoo stuff is happening so much.

The only solution to this, as far as I can tell, is for younger generations to see this and grow up and decide not to make the same mistakes once the dating market "crashes" and the value of a woman becomes dirt. That option for love, a family, actual happiness(if your goals are love and a family), and marriage goes up in a puff of smoke if the women are thotting about in their teens and 20s, and they don't see it vanish into nonexistence until they are 35, or sometimes even younger if the wall hits sooner. Rampant sex changes a woman and morphs her into something else. Brides need to become pure again, or at least value relative purity.

It's a logical paradox. On one hand women at every turn at told they are amazing and even if they don't feel that way there's a support structure that lifts them up with their self-esteem being of paramount importance -- contrast that with men that get the opposite treatment.

So it makes all the sense in the world that women, deep down, would find this off. So they seek guys that don't treat them like that. In fact the further they do the most intringuing they are. They know they can keep the default support in their back pocket so this serves as more. And we all know women are conditioned to seek out as much as they can get.

In her mind she things she deserves the best and if you can get multiple women that's a draw to her. All her life men have been presented as second class citizens so if women approve of a man many other will without question.

OP hit the nail on the head. Men have ALWAYS been accessible to women, they just have to open up their legs. They are pissed that the scales are evening out, denying them of innate power. Of course a guy that WOULD treat her like a princess is nauseating to her, so there's that.

TL/DR: Women expect all the options in the world for simply being themselves and want men to have no options so they have all the control while eschewing any responsibility that may occur as a result. I really feel sorry for the guys that try to make their women happy. Not only is it a thankless and impossible task but when they fail it's their fault for even having tried.

I think you are spending too much time in women's frame. They just say this to say they want the beta bucks strategy now, the explanation they give is trivial. They all say the same thing. Sex is not more accessible to men now, but to women. The competition is more intense for men, because women can access more alpha now, and you actually need to do more to get the same women. I find it hilarious that the modern dating market and conceptions of female sexuality actively shit on the very women who pushed them in the first place. It used to be said "It's easy to be a slut, but hard to be a stud". But now men don't need to be studs to have sex, while the value of a woman who's willing to have sex with a man has plummeted. Women have been taught for so long now to have as much sex as they can that the sex market has become oversaturated. A woman can no longer get significant favors or love from a man if she only has sex to offer because men can find women who will gladly have sex with them for fun just with the swipe of a finger. This is what I find so interesting/ironic about Western female psychology.

There are tons of loyal guys out there that are desperate to be with a woman, they just don't want these guys because they don't consider them high quality based on whatever subjective criteria they use.

In short, by trying to imitate masculine men, womankind has declared herself inferior.
