However, scientists are at a loss to explain why.

If a mother is an insufferable cunt, than her daughters are most likely going to be insufferable cunts.

If a mother chases superficial desires over long lasting, meaningful relationships, then her daughters are most likely going to ride the carousel seeking short term gratification.

If a mother is a cheating whore, don't expect her daughters to grow up a chaste, forgiving, loving women.

If a mother did anything of these things, then her son will be prone to finding women who do these things.

It doesn't take a scientist to figure out, your parents mold you to the person you are today based on their model behavior. Strong, conservative men have known all of this for thousands of years, but it only took a half century to forget it all.

I dated a single mother. She monkey branched to me. Because she wanted a Good Man to bail her out of her financial situation and I refused to do it, our "relationship" ended. She wasted no time and was back to her tricks. Doing her hair, playing R&B music to show that she's "in love" and offering herself sexually without restraint. I moved out. A much shorter, uglier, dull looking man. With dreadlocks. It hadn't even been 6 months and here she is already with another guy.

Now she has two daughters. The oldest is already trying to "twerk", stuffs her top to emulate large breasts, tying her shirt to expose her stomach, stealing lipstick and lip gloss and doing the plump lips i.e dick sucking lips thing.

Now this woman is a financial failure. As such she lives with her mother. Her kids do not have their own room. They didn't until I moved out. So while I was there, where did we have sex? About 2-3 yards away from where her kids slept. This is what is happening. Excessive monkey branching and seeing their mother engage in sexual activity at a young age. What about the fathers of these girls? Well, they are "losers" i.e. men that cannot or do not support their kids. I have only met one of them ONCE. The other I have never seen. Apparently they both don't live far away.

Of course, being the bad boys that they are, they can pay little to nothing in child support while she was screaming at me about how unreliable I am. Not done yet because it gets better. Not only is her brother already a father before 24, and the woman is no longer with him, her mother also is a single mom.

Hold up. So these eggheads felt the need to 'do a study' about why children tend to follow in the footsteps of their parents. And still won't give an answer?

Here's a clue, and it won't cost millions of dollars for a study: role models matter. Parents are THE biggest influence on a child. Nowadays, the school system is stealing that thunder, but parents still carry the most weight.

It's not just their words. It's their actions. So when mom and dad are selfish, self absorbed assholes who only think of themselves and their happiness despite the damage they wreak on the innocent children caught up in the maelstrom of adulterous relationships, broken families, and 'blended families'.

When mom and dad don't marry, don't show real commitment, don't put their kids in front of themselves... Is it any wonder the kids end up becoming the same? They'll go on to do the same in their future love lives, and pass the dysfunction down to their kids.

I'm going to have to be the best dad to keep this from happening to my daughter. He mom is the worse at jumping from guy to guy,getting pregnant and the dude leaves. I'm more than up for the challenge but it's not going to be easy.

Are they really this clueless? I doubt that. More likely, they are too afraid to admit what is staring them right in the face. Children are impressionable, and will follow the model of behavior of their parents. And when you have your own mother as a bad example, it is not a mystery why children would follow suit.

This is why any man looking to be involved with a woman long term should observe her parents and her relationship with them. Does she love and respect her father? Is he a good example of a man? Does she love and respect her mother? And is she a good example of a woman? Also be on the lookout for health habits and other patterns of behavior (ex. If her mother is overweight but she is not, chances are she will be in the future as well. Also if her parents cannot cook, she probably never learned that either). No man should be serious with a woman without vetting how her parents are and her relationship with them.

I wonder if this also plays into why I personally favor dating career women...

My Dad married a NEET housewife and it didn't take too long after that for him to start cheating on her, and as I recall while growing up...after his business got off the ground and he started making lots of money, all the while as my Mom continued being a NEET and let her appearance fade with age and lack of work.

To add further irony, my dad cheated on my NEET mom to date/sleep with career women - and not your every day fatass ugly career women married to their jobs, but the rare kind who have both the looks and the brains.

Well yes, traditionally women ARE expected to contribute to the household and maintain their appeal to their husbands, but I'm starting to think my own preference is genetically hard-coded rather than culturally.
