TL;DR

Original post: Guys gf gets raped. Gf's family prevents guy from seeing her, eventually they have lunch after a few months. They only hold hands and she holds off his advances. Then a year after she was raped, she tells her bf that she slept with her co-worker. Her therapist said it's okay because the gf was just 'reclaiming her sexuality' so it's not 'cheating'.

Guy decides to grow a pair and dump his fiance. Now to the update.

TL;DR Guys sister and the sister of his gf show up at his apartment, cry and bully him into not dumping the cheating gf. Cheating gf shows up next day, now realizes she's going to lose her doormat and gives him a pity fuck so that he'll stay. Guy decides to take her back and sees himself married in a few years. Wow.

Some key points:

Once my sister got done talking (I'm going to call her sister Susan just so I can stop typing her sister) Susan said that in reality she knew that she was right. She begged me to not go through with my letter, she said that I had promised to give Sara a week (which I had). She then gave a very impassioned speech about how much she can tell I still love her and how much she knows she still loves me.

First of all if any woman ever treated one of my brothers this way, no fucking way would I tell him to stay with her. But yet apparently some women stick together no matter what.

So long story short I agreed to not take the letter over.

Dude has no fucking balls.

All I could do was say how very sorry and how embarrassed I was,

Fiance cheats on him and he's the one apologizing.

Guy talks to his gf. Conversation is cringeworthy:

All she said to me was "are you really going to leave me"? I couldn't answer, I just looked into her eyes and felt broken and ashamed.

She fucked another guy and again, he's the one ashamed.

and that she now see's that what she did was horrible to me when I have been nothing but compassionate and loving towards her. She begged me for another chance

Now that he's not willing to be a doormat, she's willing to change.

OP gets some sane advice:

One p.m. I got from a rape survivor kept going over in my head that if she was able to come around because of the threat of me leaving then this was not all due to her emotional trauma because if it was due to that then no threat of me leaving was going to change this.

But of course OP's already suckered back into a shitty relationship:

But between my sister, her sister and her every wall that I was building to protect myself was crumbling and that kiss pretty much was the wrecking ball that tore them all down.

And gf's final move:

We ended up spending the weekend together. Yes you can infer from that what occurred between us. I'll just say that I was probably more scared about it than she was.

One year no sex, only hand holding, OP threatens to leave and all of a sudden the gf is no longer 'traumatized'.

Bottom line is I love her, I have always loved her and all I wanted was for her to show me she loved me as well.

Surprisingly most of the comments disagree with OP.
