Idolatry is not a complex topic. If you gaze upon anything other than Christ and put your faith in anything but Christ, then you are idolizing that thing that is not Christ. That is a sin and we all know it. However, there seems to be some confusion during the practical application and self-introspection that is required to rid this sin from our lives.

As a married man, I am a slave to the world via my wifes desires. I therefore abide in the world for the purpose of caring for my wife. I therefore abide in sin because I make myself a wilful slave of something other than Christ. But marriage as a sacred institution and ordained under God provides a grace to me for this sin. Marriage is the exception.

In terms of idolatry, the case can be made that I idolize my wife, but the case also remains that God wills it. Since we are here for redemption, then it stands to reason that marriage is good for me because it brings me closer to God. Marriage is a weakening of my soul that requires an additive toll and burden to overcome, but doing so will provide greater rewards and stability that keeps me from the depths of condemnation.

Women are slaves to the world regardless of their marital status. God made Eve desire to succumb to a man. Her idol is not the man as it were for her husband to her, but to the work the man performs for her. Women are not free from slavery in this regard as a man could be if he were not to marry.

Outside of sacred marriage, men and women that put their faith in [the system] commit the sin of idolatry. They seek protection and equity from those governing authorities that were not instituted by God or authorized by God. They seek private relationships with corrupted and often fraudulent enterprises because they are ignorant to the truth of their dealings. They are deceived to granting their God-granted power to those authorities that serve the principalities of the world. They are deceived into taking the mark of the social security beast with their consenting minds or consenting hands because to stake a claim of ownership under God is hard and an inconvenience to their already busy lives.

The Red Pill man does not give into the desires of his wife by giving himself to his wifes masters, but by working against his wifes masters so that she desires her husbands Holy Master. This is the burden that a husband has, to care for his dependents as Christ did for us and not allow religious leaders and pharisees to usurp our relationship (and interlope for God) through their fallible laws and failing social security contracts.

Most Christian men idolize the state. Most Christian men desire enslavement to the state because that is easier to limp downstream than to swim against the current. Most men are deceived into going limp (and serving the worlds kings) and will die without knowing how to live. Most men do not want to be a governing authority in their house because they don't want the responsibility that it entails, but also wish to claim heavenly benefits they are not obligated to. It's fraud and their service to their wifes master absolutely removes God from those private dealings they have without Him. If any man considers themselves a red pill Christian man, consider who your worldly master is and ask yourself if you can abide in fraud (and contribute to fraud that steals from your neighbor) and also serve God well.
