The trend of delaying marriage for Muslim sisters is on the rise, we are seeing more and more examples of sisters looking to get married in their late 20s or early 30s, all in for prioritizing studies and career. But for every action there’s a consequence.

Below are some of the untold consequences, that many older generations are blind to:

More girls are involved in zina: the statistics in the West are about 67% (if not more) and the Muslim countries are probably very high as more stories you hear from there. Zina is a major sin in Islam and is not to be taken lightly, and would’ve been avoided if marriage was done earlier and easier.

Financial independence making hypergamy impossible: More women are getting degrees and educated, which is a good thing but comes at a price. Women are hypergamous and want the highest value man, which means an education will make a woman even more picky than she ever was, if she’s a successful doctor she wants her better or at minimum equal, this causes a woman to delay marriage further until she reaches a stage where she settles for less than she wanted or doesn’t get married period.

Freezing eggs: I’m hearing a lot of sisters in late 20s that are desperate to get married and planning to freeze their eggs because they haven’t found a suitable partner, freezing eggs costs A LOT of money, so basically sisters are being picky and all the financial independence is not used for growth but for freezing eggs to eventually end up marrying the same type beta guy she was rejecting in her 20s.

The consequences are pretty bad deal if you see it, it doesn’t happen to ALL girls but is happening to a big number of girls today, it will increase further as we are seeing.

If marriage was not delayed, zina rates would go down, women would get married early and have healthy kids and no need to freeze eggs.
