Game works. You have to be better at it the uglier you get. So unless you look like Quasimodo you'll have to develop a damn good personality to assist you.

Game definitely works because, if done correctly, it makes a woman feel like she's having fun with the guy, or that the guy is emotionally invested in her. The LMS stuff just gets a guy in the door, but women who actually respect themselves want more than that.

Obviously looks are more important, unless you're average and are intelligent when it comes to humor and flirting.

I think it does not work, especially PUA thing. From my experience ( subjective ) it is about LMS. Maybe not to huge degree, but here where I come from, women prefer good looking men and they date/marry such guys. Those who cant marry good looking guys, they marry for status, medical doctors/engineers. Some marry for money.

I dont know any average guy who ever had any sort of casual sex. Average guys had to invest a lot in a girl. On the other hand, good looking guys had many opportunities with "rebelious" women.

Self Improvement is hard, and a lot of guys use the idea that game doesn't work as an excuse to quit. Frankly, that's their problem, and they can go enjoy porn by themselves.

I come from the generation that invented game and we all know it fucking works. It works like magic sometimes. It works so well that sometimes it's almost too damn easy. If I went back in time and could teach myself this shit at age 14, my life would have been so much better!!

Know plenty of average (or below average) money guys who get laid a lot. Know a few average looks guys who get laid a lot (none below average). Can’t think of any average (broad definition) status guys that get laid a lot.

Why?

Women are attracted to power. Looks, money, status, and game are simply signals of power, not power itself. If you express power in one or more of five different areas (physical, social, financial, intellectual, or spiritual) women will be attracted to you. The more power you express in more areas, the more women will be attracted to you - LMSG are just some of the ways which signal the expression of some of those fundamental types of power.

In no particular order:

Some "game* ~~helps~~ is necessary whether someone is a natural or it's acquired
"status" is part of game
having a decent-to-good body by lifting at the gym and eating right, it's "game"
having something interesting to say it's "game"
being confident (and not awkward / shy / socially challenged)

If someone has or acquire the above, they will be able to get into a relationship with a like-minded woman with compatible looks.

Late reply, but I appreciate OP's RP posting.

Yes obviously 'game' works in the general sense. But the whole marketing bullshit premise that you can "create attraction" is a lie. You cannot "lay any woman" this way.

Game works by emphasizing and escalating existing attraction factors to seduce a woman quickly. It used to be called "Fast Seduction", and that's what it is. You wanna get attracted women in your bed before they have second thoughts.

Cold approach is the thing which rarely works. "Game" amplifies your existing LMS (looks, money, status), and works way better the warmer the context is. Social reputation means a lot. If she knows something about you, or has an idea, that's the real game. "S" matters a lot.

The PPDcels here saying its "just about looks" are too removed to get it. That's just the first rung you need for most women.

Probably, but it’s easier to “have game” if you just think of it as normal human people skills. Thinking of yourself as some hunter trying to single out a female to take home tends to put a lot of pressure on success, which can actually lead to less success because you’re failing to make the interaction feel natural, so you just come off as a weirdo

Most women are sexually reactive, so they have to be actively seduced if you want to bed them. There are few women who would actually lead things forward.

That being said, I think that once you can seduce women you’re not going to be much more successful by optimizing your technique there. You’re better off looksmaxxing, gaining power, and creating a more masculine presence. She either likes you or she doesn’t; you can fuck up with a bad seduction, but a great seduction won’t turn a no into a yes.

There is a plethora of evidence of game mattering, and there is also a plethora of evidence for game not mattering(and only looks mattering)

The logical conclusion is that between looks and game, one somehow substitutes the other. Chad Thundercock doesn't need game because he's dimorphic as fuck, which women automatically assume makes him masculine as fuck(you know, Halo Effect - if you're tall you're a good leader, if you're symmetric you're healthy, if you have hunter eyes you're confident, etc)

Men who are not dimorphic as fuck would need to "prove" their masculinity, and they do so using game.

That's what I believe... at least for now. Check back with me in the summer and I might have changed my mind again.

There's a limit to how low a guy can be on the looks spectrum. A 4 or 5 guy? He'll get halfway decent results if he's willing to put in an insane amount of work. A guy whose 5'1, with serious facial flaws? Best he can hope for is to be an effective beta bux for some settler, and he's better off just staying single than messing with that.
