An experiment was done where two groups of people play war (a game of 100% chance) and bet throughout the game. On each card, they could bet $1, $5, or $10. One group played against a guy in a suit who seemed like a card pro. The other group plaged against a nerdy looking guy who struggled to shuffle the cards.

The people up against the "pro" bet the minimal amount almost every time. The people up against the "nerd" bet the maximum each time. They subconsciously feel like theyre more likely to beat the nerd, despite the fact that they know that this game is complete chance. Winning a round is literally 0% skill and 100% luck, and yet they bet radically differently between the two men.

People are clowns. Gyow gents.
