Rape accusers sue University of Tennessee for giving the accused student due process

Reddit View
February 16, 2016

You read that right. A group of students, accusing others of rape, are suing the school for using due process.

Be smart, just because you can have sex with someone doesn't mean you should. Society is headed down a path that is very dangerous for men. There are women out there who will not hesitate to ruin your life. Plenty of women have zero guilt in false accusations, sending guys after you, etc. Sexual gratification is not worth that, especially given that you can find plenty of other women who aren't crazy. Your red pill knowledge should allow you to get with many women who won't do this. Use your knowledge for a better life, not random sex with anyone.

From the article: The plaintiffs are seeking damages including reimbursement and pre-payment for all of their tuition and related expenses incurred as a consequence of the sexual assaults

That's their ultimate goal, free education at the expense of (usually) gifted athletes.

It just proves how watered the definition of rape has become thanks to feminists. They are not even taking rape seriously anymore.

If a real rape was happening, a sane person only objective would be is to make sure that the perpetrator rots in jail for as long as possible (and I support that 100%)

But feminists took a serious crime and use it as their playing card for their advantage in order to pump out as much money and power as possible. Now whenever I hear a rape case I am extremely skeptical thanks to feminists making a SHITLOAD of false accusations. Their egotistical greed has gotten the best of them.

Well congratulations, you played yourself.

[–]mugatucrazypills52 points53 points  (6 children) | Copy

Feminists and white knights like to play a game that feeds from the from the instinct of "altruistic cruelty" in humans, which involves fantasizing about what vengance they'd like to bring on the other/rapist/evilone. I've heard the most supposedly liberal ladies in the world talk about how they'd like to build a rape machine to rape the rapists, rip their skin off, heal and repeat, or have government do tortures that would make the aztecs blush on "the rapist" when he is found.

When there just aren't that many rapes around, it becomes very frustrating for them because they can never see the fantasy fufilled, even vicariously. After time, fufilling the rapist vengence fantasy becomes an obssession in the feminist mind. Fufilling it with some man/patsy becomes more important than finding a real rapist, truth, etc.

[–]Cronyx24 points25 points  (3 children) | Copy

Upvote for "altruistic cruelty". That's a fucking amazing (terrifying) concept.

Pshh if only all that it took was 2 false accusations. It seems to me like even though most people are becoming suspicous of rape claims. No one would dare question it in public or on air aka anywhere it matters. The media still treats a rape accusation as being found guilty by a jury of your peers.

The media still treats a rape accusation as being found guilty by a jury of your peers.

Look at what reprehensible creatures populate the media. Nancy Grace comes to mind. Read a few bits about her here: http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-632636

Notice that as a lawyer she was tagged by other lawyers as 'fast and loose' with ethics. She was also an ardent supporter of the Duke Lacrosse prosecution, and wouldn't even appear on her own show to announce that they had disbarred the prosecutor and announced the verdict. In short, she's not ethical at all, and in all probability has caused two deaths. The reason she's on TV is because her screechy personality, arrogance, and total disregard for due process makes for entertainment for some. Some people watch because they agree with her, some watch because they want to see what outrageous shit she will do next. The point is, though, that people watch her show.

Just remember, the media wants ratings so they can sell advertising. Journalistic integrity died a long time ago.

That's something I was wondering about, why don't the "rape-victims" go straight to the police? Does the university hold any legal power?

If someone stole my car on campus and even if I was absolutely sure it was done by another student, I wouldn't go to the dean - I'd call the police.

[–]Miheegz13 points14 points  (1 child) | Copy

Because the police aren't under Title IX and thus will actually investigate the claim. While if you go to the university they will just expel the accused and you will achieve star status on campus. Notice how it is never the 10/10 fox who got raped but the purple haired slightly overweight chick. Who has never recieved this much attention in her life.

[–]somercet0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I know someone who left to work at the University of Chicago. He was told, if you have any problems, call the UC police; they'll fix it. So, yay for private police forces...?

It's sad. I don't have any kind of emotional reaction whatsoever any more when a woman says she was raped or that her ex was abusive. Yeah, yeah... He raped you by jerking off to porn once and abused you by not paying all your bills even though you pouted and stomped your widdle footsie. I get it. Go away.

[–]Duke_LFG27 points28 points  (24 children) | Copy

Lol I bet this gets thrown out of court, or both parties litigate until funds run out. This is going to be a lose lose situation.

Just a prediction with no data other than we are sick of this bullshit which has been proven to be bullshit over, and over.

[–][deleted] 38 points39 points  (22 children) | Copy

courts take due process seriously. 100% this gets thrown out.

[–]ObservantOmega18 points19 points  (21 children) | Copy

It gets better, the frivolous litigation rules may bite the lawyers of the students in the ass. If a judge calls a litigation "frivolous" it's like telling the world that the lawyer filling it is a moron. And then there are the financial sanctions.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (17 children) | Copy

gotta love that lawyers have to put their reputations at stake if they want to take a case. it was hilarious when the lawyer of the "victim" in the patrick kane case quit because he didn't believe her.

[–]sir_wankalot_here17 points18 points  (15 children) | Copy

Have you ever actually talked to any lawyers on a social basis ?

gotta love that lawyers have to put their reputations at stake if they want to take a case.

Obviously not. A lawyer is paid to argue your case, and his reputation among other lawyers is based on whether or not he wins the case.

You are appended by the cops while covered in blood, there are 3 dead bodies with a knife in them with your fingerprints on it. Fortunately you watched the video why you should not talk to the cops and refuse to make any statements you immediately contact your crackerjack lawyer.

By the evidence it appears you are guilty of murder.

But your lawyer comes up with an explanation of why your fingerprints are on the knife and you are covered with the victims blood. You found the victims while they where still alive, you attempted to perform first aide on them and your fingerprints are on the knife because you where attempting to remove the knife to stop the flow of blood.

Your crackerjack lawyer is very convincingz the jury buys his story. You are declared a hero.

Did you actually commit the murders ? From a legal perspective irrelevant. Your lawyer would be viewed as a top notch lawyer and his reputation would increase because he won an impossible case.

I was having drinks with a crackerjack lawyer, he managed to get one of his clients off for murder despite there being a witness and other evidence. His case was won by discrediting the witness. He was laughing about how he laid a trap and made the witness look like a liar.

I asked him if he thought his client committed the murder. He admitted the evidence appeared to indicate it. But he then said a court of law decided his client was innocent.

[–]just_noob_things5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

i love how he won't even venture a direct opinion - 'the evidence appears to indicate it'

[–]recon_johnny4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

[–]Hydris1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

He probably never believed/knew she was full of shit. He just knew once that shit unfolded and didn't work in their favor his goose was cooked and he bailed as soon as possible. Especially when she was anonymous until that fuck up and gave her identity away. Building was on fire, he was just getting out while he still could with whatever small amount of dignity he could save.

[–]afkb39sdfb1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

And then there are the financial sanctions

If the plaintiff loses their suit, they have to pay all the defendants legal costs. I can imagine the schools have large retainers with expensive law firms, $500-$1000/hour expensive law firms. If these dumb cunts lose against the school they're paying the school 5 figures back in legal costs for sure.

[–]ObservantOmega1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Well, that's the case if they only loose the case. Having your case thrown out as frivolous is much, much, worse.

If you are a lawyer then you and your firm may get "sanctioned" by the court for knowingly filing a frivolous suit. Most common types of sanctions are financial, your client pays the legal cost and then you as the law firm have to pay a fine. Not good.

But there are other cases of sanctions, if you are extra stupid or try something illegal, you might get cited before a professional conduct committee. And that can end in professional punishment up to being permanently disbarred, probably not in this case but you never know.

[–]afkb39sdfb0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Guess that explains the targeting of fraternities for false rape accusations.

[–]tb87670113 points114 points  (22 children) | Copy

This shit will go on until punishment occurs for false accusers. Without punishment they will keep doing it and not care about the lives of men being ruined. I don't care if the punishment is legally sanctioned or not honestly, at this point too many men are having their lives ruined by false accusations and something needs to be done to stop the public slandering until evidence comes out.

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (4 children) | Copy

This shit will go on until punishment occurs for false accusers.

After the Ghomeshi trial wraps up, Canada will finally have a precedent for false rape accusations.

He's most likely going to get acquitted - his lawyer completely destroyed the case brought forth by the government.

It'll show future cases that either rape needs proof, or it won't last long in court.

[–]putinbush1015 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

CBC actually published a good article about the importance of due process.

And criticising how the far left wants to get rid of it for sex offenders while the far right wants to get rid of it for suspected terrorists - two sides of the same authoritarian coin.

Seriously the way our legal system appears to work is women can haphazardly break any laws they want and the state agencies responsible for enforcing them just flatly refuse to enforce them on anyone other than men, usually black men.

[–]landon042 -1 points-1 points [recovered] | Copy

The only punishment so far is, every semi intelligent alpha male will never give a hoe commitment that has falsely accused. They really don't know doing that is only making them a fuck toy and nothing more, cant wait til hundreds of thousands of these women get into 30s and 40s and wonder why they're bored, disgusted and unhappy and no alpha wants to fuck them anymore

[–]YET_ANOTHER_ALT_ 16 points16 points [recovered] | Copy

Except that unless the records of their false accusations are easily found on the Internet, and without any grey areas, the romantic consequences for their actions will only likely matter for as long as they attend that school.

[–]2Overkillengine9 points10 points  (6 children) | Copy

Which is why men must be taught how to get women to volunteer that information so that they can covertly "next" any woman that pulls that crap.

Law 38 can be used to preemptively filter dross as well as defend against it.

[–]TitsAndWhiskey2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

Or just assume they're all like that and don't ever commit to any of them.

[–]2Overkillengine0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

That's the default, I specifically mean identifying the ones that one can stick a dick into, and the ones that need hazmat protocols like initial isolation and protective action distances. A woman that brandishes "her rape" like a status symbol falls into the latter.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I think Law 38 is the most important Law of the 48. In my estimation, one of the main through-lines of the book is "check your ego," and this sums it up very well.

Don't be a hero and preach. You can make intelligent, strategic choices while making others feel valued.

[–]maxrp 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

we could make a register, false accusors go on the registor. I was watching Gone Girl and the guy seeks out his wifes past ex's and one confides the girl framed him of rape and ruined his life. If all the men who have been attacked with false-rapes even if the cops were'nt involved put the accusors on a false rape registor then men could look up girls they're dating or about to propose marriage to before they get stung.

[–]2Overkillengine0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Opens one up to defamation lawsuits. Easier and safer in the long run to learn how to get them to incriminate themselves.

Society does not punish women, regardless of how deranged their actions are.

[–]slip-down3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

I agree with somwthing Rogan said, that society is overcompensating and eventually the pendulum will swing back to more neutral ground. There's been way too many false rape allegations, more then I can count. Society is reactive trust me they are already desensitized to it.

[–]tb876704 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

This year is that turning point where pretty much any rape case on the news all the people in my family just say 'yep, whatever' and the feminists do not realize what they have done. By over-victimizing rape and by turning it into a weapon against men they have actually fucked (or raped? lol irony) the actual rape victims because no sane person will believe a rape charge anymore. The boy that cried wolf, same thing. When it's finally true no one is going to believe it, and that doesn't bother me one bit at all. Women did this to themselves.

[–]afkb39sdfb0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

They are being punished, on a societal scale, men are opting out.

[–]tb876700 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

That's not punishment. Women are still getting all the sex they want from the highly desirable men, the classic 80/20 rule. They are suffering when it comes to long term relationships and are proven to be highly unhappy about it, but feminism is spinning so women are taught to think that living like it's Sex in the City is actually a good thing. This message keeps being parroted, and like someone with a gambling addiction they will double down even with a losing hand just hoping that next card that flops down is THE ONE they need to win.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

The thing is if people do get punished for false accusations it will make other people who have legit claims not want to report for fear of it being labeled a false accusation and getting punished. System does have to change though...

Here's the thing: the University of Tennessee is a public university, and therefore a subdivision of the State of Tennessee, which means that things like "due process" and "innocent until proven guilty" aren't just quaint niceties of a bygone era: they are the law of the land.

This is another attempt to weaponize the state against men, and to turn the state in their own, personal BetaBux.

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "It's my nature..."

I am actually glad this is happening. Don't get me wrong, yeah this is ludicrous but think of the long term ramifications. Little by little universities are getting sick of these people. There are some that are catering to them because the professors and administrators are part of the regressive left but overall universities are getting tired.

Professors are getting tired of their bastion of knowledge and free ideas being turned into a daycare for adults. Hell there are professors who are on their ivory towers that are collapsing because of these regressive leftists. This is a long line of things that will start an education civil war between colleges who want to retain their old ideals and colleges that are glorified daycare centers.

So I say yes I hope more shit happens like this because there is only so much they can do until these institutions of higher learning get angry and start weeding them out.

For those who, for whatever reason, don't want to hit that site, it says:

Hillary Clinton has hired Zerlina Maxwell. Do you remember her?

Maxwell has written this: “Ultimately, the costs of wrongly disbelieving a survivor far outweigh the costs of calling someone a rapist.” Maxwell said that false accusations "can be undone by an investigation that clears the accused, especially if it is done quickly."

Yep, she actually said that. And her views mirror those of her new boss, who recently said that rape accusers should be believed until evidence proves the accusation is false.

Yes, friends, if Hillary is elected, we will enter into a feminist nirvana, where women never lie about rape unless the accusation is lobbed at Bill Clinton; where due process for men and boys accused of rape is a luxury we can afford but won't bother to extend; and where it's Salem, Massachusetts, 1692, all the time, at least when it comes to men and boys.

[–]equinoxaeonian4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

By a healthy number of women getting tired of this bullshit when real rape victims are shoved or neglected in favor of "mattress girl".

Gosh...I still hate that bitch....

[–]tallwheel13 points14 points  (2 children) | Copy

Unfortunately, women as a whole are complacent with feminism. Even if they think feminists are spoiled bitches, they won't do anything to fight back because feminism benefits them too much. It will take enough guys fighting back before anything changes... and those guys will have all the BP white knights and most of the women in the world to fight against.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

You don't have to shout from the rooftops the positive benefits of a patriarchy to fight back.

Go to a tech school.

This, or go to a smaller satellite campus of a large university. The kind with no dorms, Greek row, any of that. Usually half to two-thirds the tuition, smaller classes, cheaper living costs in the surrounding area, and none of this BS. Same degree with the same accreditation. Getting my engineering degree at one. Two year transfer degree at community college and two years at the satellite campus. After grants and all that it won't even cost me 20k for an engineering degree.

[–]tallwheel7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah. People in the manosphere are saying it already. It's a minefield. Don't go unless there is a very specific degree you need, and if you do be extremely careful and don't date or fuck women on campus.

[–]tb876706 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's already there. I'm not going to college here because of how hostile of an environment it is to me. Going to local Tech school, costs way less and I can work up to an Associates in 2-4 years time WHILE working and earning money. Add on online classes for a bachelors in another 2-4 years while working and I won't have to step foot in a college classroom. I'm still hesitant for the online college courses though, because that still funds the liberal leftist shit-tards running and working in the colleges.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

You can make a ton more picking up trades as opposed to going to college and you get paid as an apprentice rather than paying some dumb cunt to harass all the males around them (aka. Feminist professors).

[–]tb876701 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

^ My post just above yours that's exactly what I'm doing. I even said I'm not sure if I'll take online college classes, because it's still feeding the feminist fucks in college their paychecks. Typically in a free market people vote with their wallets. Shit idea? Go ahead, take it to market, you end up making no money though. Problem with colleges is they sort of have society in their grips, they know lots of people want higher education for more money. Luckily the market is flooded with useless BA's doing high-school level work at mcdonalds and walmart, soon people will see they are paying tens of thousands to work a job they could have gotten without going into debt.

Trade school is the future for men. The money might not be white collar money, but it will be enough to enter the middle class. You will be working an actual job with technical skills. You will not be sitting inside idly all day as a cash register making minimum wage. Construction workers, HVAC techs, plumbers, all these guys are the best ones to talk to when chatting it up. Those people that work at starbucks or mall stores, they are boring as fuck and dull to talk to.

What is to stop me from accusing Gloria Allred of assault 30 years ago? To call Cosby's lawyer and say I was a hot, young, male prostitute on the streets of LA when she pulled up and asked if I'd do sex stuff with her. At the hotel, she kicked me square in the nuts, didn't pay me, told me if I made an issue she'd have me killed and left?

Maybe it happened. Maybe it didn't. She's a wealthy, powerful attorney and I've been too scared for my life to bring it up.

Now imagine if ten of us did it.

Half of those aren't even just common law innovations. Like, right to face the accused, due process, right to an attorney are guaranteed Constitutional rights.

The average student has a 0,011 % chance of being raped on campus. Add the legal suit for giving the accused the benefit of the doubt..

I'd just expel the rape accusers.

At this rate, men are going to be having zero guilt in choking bitches when the walking dead shit happens and women can't use the government, social justice warriors or internet for help when that shit no longer exist.

Something something Peyton Manning.

This isn't the same school. This is the University of TN at Chattanooga, not Knoxville. I go to school here as well, which makes it seem all the more crazy.

I don't think so, I think many women can appear as normal at first. Anyway, the post didn't mean that redpill knowledge would give you a psychic ability to know who is crazy, it means you have the knowledge to get a variety of women, so you aren't "limited to" or "stuck with" the crazy ones.

How does this even happen?!

I hope I'm not being misled here but, feminism is going for justice right? How is due process not justice?

[–]TitsAndWhiskey3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Lol on what planet is justice the end goal of feminism? You have a lot of learning to do.

[–]0kool741 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

You are right.....due process is justice. But it's not social justice....and that's what they're going after.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

Ah, right, that sounds like a clear distinction.

Now that I read the post, I don't even know why I said feminism.

Social Justice: You're guilty because I said so. (Also usually because you are white and/or male).

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

So, I always guilty?

Why is this even an issue? If you want friends, talk to guys. If you want sex, do it 10km away from home. Use a burner and a fake name. It's best to just pay for it if you're not in the zone to close.

Tldr; quit fear mongering.

[–]TheRabbitTunnel[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Or, instead of wasting tons of money on sex, and going through a bunch of crap to hide your identity, you could just get with sane women.

[–]TheMGhandi4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

  • Students are better looking, and cheaper escorts. The money spent on courting or in court far outweigh legal prostitution

  • Hiding your identity takes seconds. Mine is hidden here and it took almost no effort.

  • Sane women are all capable of calling the cops for domestic abuse the moment they don't get their way. The only "sane" woman you can find has a father she is obedient too, and this obedience transfers onto her man. Seeing as that's rare, a sane woman 100% of the time is as rare as a shiny mewtwo.

Edit: and if this shiny mewtwo exists, it will have a high amount of narcissism in knowing that it is incredibly rare. Which brings us to "what happens when a narcissist gets angry for 400 Alex!" Cops, bs and the works. The only non narcissistic sane woman out there is equivalent to finding two shiny mewtwos in back to back resets. Damn near impossible.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
