Back when I was on PCCC in the Navy, I probably choked down 3500+ calories a day, some days 5000 easily. But we ran 4-5 miles a day, every day. We were doing drills in the heat with 30+ lbs. of gear on.
I gained about 30 lbs. when I got out because I kept eating the same way, but wasn't doing the same level of exercise. It didn't come off again until I started heavy weightlifting and insulin hacking.

Yeah man, I was pretty much a stereotypical lefty when I was in college, so I totally bought into the food desert myth. When I got my first apartment I moved to a neighborhood that was about 50% black. Every time I went to the grocery store I couldn't help but notice all the black women with shopping carts filled to the brim with junk food. You could buy bags of frozen vegetables at this store for a dollar or less (cans were like 50 cents). It's not about percentage of fat. BMI is laughably terrible at judging people with alot of muscle. No matter how you shape a 5 ft 9 woman, I would NOT fuck her if she weighed 203 lbs! A girl at that height is already chubby at around 165. Where looking at at least 60% of women who atleast chubby.
My wife gained a ton of weight in her last pregnancy and is around 5'9". Fattest she had ever been, plus an entire 8 lb child, plus ~20 lbs of fluid & nursing fat weight and she clocked in at 180.

Im 170 lbs at 5'7 lifting only 2.5 years and can ohp 170, squat 360, deadlift 475, and bench 280. Started at 125 pounds bodyweight. The best advice is watch Matt Ogus video on macros 101 on YouTube, then follow a tried and true powerbuilding program. As a natty you have to get stronger while in a caloric surplus to gain muscle optimally. I chose stronglifts 5x5 and ran it for a year(starting strength will also work), then I did PHAT while cutting once from 160-145 lbs for 4 months. Now I have been on the Wendler 5/3/1 program since the new year and I am bulking to 180 by December. Ask me any questions you want. I've probably spent 500 hours researching fitness the last two years

I think a lot of that is due to the unnecessarily high intensity of the desire to control women's sexual behaviour in such places. I think that the height of the desire's intensity is due to the practise of polygamy. A lot of women ignore strength thinking that it will make them big. I think this is a bit of a problem coming from that people equate weight lifting with body building. Every human should be weightlifting, but very few people should be body building. But women just think that weight lifting is for body building. Hell a lot of older men think this too. My dad is shooting 60 and has always been physically very robust he figures any sort of weight lifting will just cause him to get big and he doesn't want that, I tried to tell him it is for his long term hip, knee and back health and he doesn't get it. A lot of Bro Science guys do the same thing where they do what they can to get huge while ignoring a lot of strength (especially strength from stabilizers, a lot of meatheads can't do a turkish getup because they lack muscular stability, you are as weak as your weakest link guys).
Women, and Men, should focus on getting strong first and then when they have achieved certain strength benchmarks go for some sort of weight loss goal. Trying to lose weight while being physically weak is counter productive. Likewise I know guys who look shredded, not big but you can see every muscle defined. I've been lifting since I was 12. I played football all the way through college and was 23 when I graduated, and continued to lift afterward. I'm 28 now. I'm not an ultra muscular Arnold Schwarznegger type body builder at all despite 16 years of lifting.

I also grew up fat and always believed it was "slow metabolism" or "genetics" (since the rest of my family is fat/chubby). I was always told that some people just "have good genes" where they can eat a whole bag of chips in one sitting and a candy bar without getting fat.
Well truth is, my family just has really unhealthy eating habits. They're uneducated on nutrition and just buy any BS dieting advice that's thrown at them on Good Morning America or The View. "Diets" are always temporary and while someone may shed off a few pounds, they're still "out of shape" and still exactly where they were when it comes to physical ability and athletics.
My grandma constantly buys junk from the center of the supermarket. Cookies, baked goods like raspberry turnovers, soda pop.. I think the only vegetable we ever ate in my house were a basic garden salad with low quality nutrition iceberg lettuce and potatoes. I remember when I was 12 I asked my grandma to please stop buying soda cause no one in the house drinks it except me and I don't want to get fatter and wind up with type II diabetes. She just laughed at me and said "buy you like it! you drink it!" disregarding the fact that it's highly addictive. She simply just didn't believe me.
My family also would say things like "too much protein is bad for you" uhh what? Do you know HOW MUCH protein you need to consume in one day to actually see a negative side effect from it?! Lots of them have a typical Irish person pallete where they can't stomach any food that's not INCREDIBLY white bread like meat and potatoes. I've never seen them eat indian food, sushi, cous cous, or anything that has any exotic element to it.
Once I moved out of my house for college, I started cooking for myself and shed off weight super quick. I tried seltzer water for the first time and realized that what I really liked about soda was the fizz and carbonation. Some people get the "freshman 15" I got the "freshman -15". I stopped snacking mainly due to financial reasons too.
People are often solipsistic about their diets and will even go as far to elaborate or outright lie about their physical exercise routines and eating habits. Gluttony is a sin or "bad thing" in various religious texts for a reason, it makes you weak and susceptible to beastly desire (desire that supersedes rational thought) which turns you weak, immobile or sick. Just the other day when I came home from work I saw my mom sitting on the couch eating a large bag of Lays Potato Chips at 10PM. Anybody with half a grain of knowledge in the fitness or health world will tell you that a BMI index is a poor, at best, indicator of whether or not someone is fat because it's too simplistic. It doesn't account for things like muscle mass or bone structure. I'm classed as "overweight" on the BMI scale but I'm fit muscle wise...my body fat % is 15%.
I'm not denying that obesity is increasing. I think there's a trend. But for god sakes, use something that's a bit more accurate like increase on cardiac disease, or even average body fat %. Not some ambiguous measurement like BMI.

There actually was a study on BMI. What it found was not that people are classified as overweight/obese when they aren't, but that in reality people are classified as normal/overweight when they are actually overweight/obese (by BF%).
Bone structure is all but irrelevant, and if someone is a BMI of 25 because of muscle, you'll know it. BMI is still an excellent indicator.

The cutoff for obesity at 5'9" is 203 lbs. frankly, that's well beyond unfuckable IMO. The cutoff for me would probably be ~160 (I'm 180). Which means it's probably more like 50-60% of women are unfuckable in my eyes.

Obesity is the other face of malnutrition. Poor people tend to be more malnourished because they don't or can't access to high quality foods. Poverty is also increasing in the US, and obesity along with it.
Of course black people tend to be from lower socioeconomic strata so they have more chance of becoming fat.

BMI doesn't differentiate men and women in its calculation.
How much do you think the average women weighs? How much do you think the average man weighs?
If a woman normally weighs less than a man, than the BMI calculations will be skewed. A 200lb man and a 200lb woman will more than likely have a HUGE difference in bodyfat percentage. But BMI will report them as being the same.
Another factor is muscle mass. Men naturally have more muscle, can build more muscle, and build it faster/easier. Arnold in his prime was clinically obese. BMI only accounts for height and weight, nothing else.
So with these 2 factors taken into consideration, just imagine how much worse the reality is. Women in America are fat as fuck.
A man OR a woman at 200lbs will probably be overweight.
