Every time someone talks about bullshit "body positivity" it's always only about female land whales. Nobody ever said that a fat man is "handsome".

[–]paigebennettblack0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Self love is EXTREMELY important. I gained weight in college and hated myself, I’d binge eat and purge and repeat.
When I learned to love my body I learned to take care of myself because I fuckin loved myself.
Chubby girls AND boys deserve love, hate won’t change how you treat yourself for the better.
Everyone deserves self love.

The question isn't focused on the answer. It's focused on why the answer would be what it is.
If you avoid a fat woman because she is unattractive, or avoid being fat yourself to remain attractive then you are still blue pulled.
Attraction, both to and from, is a blue pilled trait.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Blue pilled trait? Nah that’s a human trait. Everyone can appreciate a nice body.
Cheers
[–]213546416546843 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Personally, I spend a decent amount of time and effort on exercise, staying active, and self-improving in general. I do it for me, because it makes me feel good and a little extra longevity is a plus. This isn't something I do when I feel like it, it's how I live. I couldn't be with someone who doesn't share the same life goals.
I would say that if you self-improve only for the sake of attracting women, yes that is blue pilled. In that case you are changing your life to please someone else (women).
Attraction is not a blue pilled trait. It is a natural unconscious response that occurs due to our biological drive to reproduce. We are biologically wired to look for certain traits in potential mates as markers for a healthy individual, which signal that they will produce healthy offspring. Blue pill mentality is not natural, it's something you learn from society.
Yeah that's a good point to aid in my own. What I've been saying is that everyone is different. There is no one correct answer or way.
There may never be a "correct answer" or "correct way," but there are always consequences. Choose your path wisely.

Yes, I'm actually a 40yo dude who is still a virgin. I'm not religious, actually atheist. I've tried and failed so many times I'm starting to think sex is a myth that only exists on the internet and babies are actually delivered by storks. Lol
I guess I'm too..... Ugly? Awkward? Nerdy? I don't know. I spend time on places like r/foreveralone trying to figure it out.

Bro fuck forever alone all you're gonna find there is depressing shit and excuses. It's just more fake but convincing reinforcement for one niche about how the world is and its gonna make you feel like shit reading all that.
Fuck the red pill too that is some bullshit where they want to tell you all women are one way all you have to do is "insert their prescription to gettin mad pussy and why women are bitches"
Idk how I feel about this sub too that I just found because I see a lot of people saying all women are whores who only want you if you have money and looks. I like the message about doing your own thing but I dont believe you actively need an enemy to hate, just to let go of whoever hurt you and try again. This sub is selling a prescription too and be wary of any sub or cultural group that tries to do that by using hate.
Focus on yourself and go your own way by all means but that means you truly have to let go of all the societal pressures and past failures and whatever other bullshit is on your mind, find peace with yourself- even your shortcomings bc you can change that, and if not everyone has some kind of tick! You got this man, go your own way but dont take that prescription for hate or the subs that wallow in self pity.
Unsub from the negatives and rinse the bullshit off!

To be fair, I take everything on the internet "with a grain of salt" as I know that it's all filtered through someone else's perspective. I know some subs can lead one down crazy rabbit-holes or make one really depressed (have you seen r/collapse?)
I don't think I'm wallowing in self-pity; I'm just trying to solve a problem. But thanks for your input.

Glad you are skeptical my man I just see too many people wallowing and it just seems so mentally unhealthy.

It's one of the main things that destroyed the relationship I had with my exgf. When we first started dating she wasn't fat, but after 5 years she gained a great deal of weight, and I had a lot of trouble keeping it up.
She wanted to diet, and I tried to help her, but she kept choosing these bullshit diets that were next to impossible to stick with. One of them for instance was this diet that required you to buy this little 80 dollar bottle of "weight loss drops" that you put under your tongue every morning & evening, and it also had a diet regimen to follow which was 500 fucking calories per 24hrs. Which is difficult to stick with because you're hungry all the time. I tried telling her that those drops were homeopathic bullshit & the only reason that diet "worked" was the 500 calories per day. However she worked at a pharmacy & her pharmacist boss (a man hating lesbian) is the one who gave her those stupid 'weight loss drops' in the first place. So she would just be like "Uhm...she's a pharmacist, I think she knows more about it than you do."
After I moved out she had no problem finding guys who wanted to bone fat chicks, and I had no problem meeting skinnier girls.

Fat girls are like mopeds: They are fun to ride occasionally, but it looks embarrassing to be seen with them, you wouldn't want to ride one every day, if you get one you'll be suck with it because no one else would want to take it off your hands, and they make an annoying noise.

Why do you work so hard for that body? What benefits could possibly be worth all that effort?
General health is great and all, but is all that effort really worth the extra year or two you might get out of it when you could just not spend all that time getting so fit and enjoy it now?
As a man who used to think like this, I can't see why I did it other than to attract women. But now that I am not interested in doing such I'm also not interested in working so hard for a body that provides me nothing but a slight health bonus.
[–]nickdiesel9040 points41 points42 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Plenty of benefits: increased energy, mental clarity, and anything involving physical activity becomes easier.
[–]hipshot_koiwoi20 points21 points22 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Better posture, increased confidence, flexibility, lifting things at my job was easier which increased over-all productivity, looked and felt healthier, reduced risk of chronic diseases, greater energy and vitality, and I felt happier....
[–]ThirstySasquatch9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I agree man. Also, as a goal oriented person, I can make a lot of short term goals that revolve around fitness.
I used to be a gym rat and now im doing more calisthenics so I can workout at home. So right now I want to achieve a 5 second free handstand and a 15 second l - sit. Achieving said goals just feels great.
Not to mention, in order to accomplish these things I have to eat better which means less eating out and wasting money.
Being fit affects many aspects of your life and it's great. My friends also don't get offended when O don't want to go get wasted as I don't drink much either anymore
[–]nickdiesel902 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I've had the same experience. It seemed like once I started making a habit of going to the gym everything else fell in line (diet, sleep, less alcohol). I feel your pain on not getting wasted as much, but we'll be better off for it in the long run.
[–]ThirstySasquatch2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
At first it was just working out with a slightly better diet. But the further on the journey I go, the more things I need to fix in order to get a more "pure" output so to speak.
It's like putting shitty fuel in car versus running high octane.
[–]nickdiesel904 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
For me it's wanting to optimize the time put in. If I'm not eating right, then my body composition will suffer. If I'm not getting enough protein then my lifts won't go up. You can still reap the benefits of exercise with a subprime diet, but you won't look like you work out. It's so easy anymore to track calories and macros with apps like MFP that I can't imagine mindlessly eating like I used to.
[+]Djakamoe-9 points-8 points-7 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
The first 2 plateau very quickly, according to any study done on mental health and exercise, and the physical activity benefit is on a case to case basis. Sure a construction worker would benefit greatly from physical fitness, but an accountant wouldn't.
In short, take a nice long walk every so often and you'll reap every benefit a gym rat does mentally.
[–]nickdiesel906 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
There's quite a bit of a scientific literature that links moderate to intense exercise with improved mental function and well-being. Here's one such article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5934999/
[+]Djakamoe-7 points-6 points-5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Yes physical activity does promote general heath, physically and mentally, however my point which you can see in those studies is that those mental benefits plateau rather quickly and you can reach those optimal benefits from not very much work at all.
So anything more is technically a waste of time assuming you don't require the physical benefits further.
[–]nickdiesel903 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
That's not what this particular article said.
"Sport psychology has suggested that the success or failure of PE programs depends on several factors such as the intensity, frequency, duration of the exercise, and whether the PE is done in group or alone (Weinberg and Gould, 2015)"
"Beside frequency and duration over time, even the intensity is a parameter to be considered when evaluating the PE effects. It has been showed that moderate intensity exercise is related to increased performance in working memory and cognitive flexibility, whereas high-intensity exercise improves the speed of information processing (Chang and Etnier, 2009). "
[–]Djakamoe-2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
You're understanding that differently than it's point. The word "intensity" in the article is not defined like I think you believe it is.
They explain it further within the article.
[–]nickdiesel904 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Your previous comment stated that it takes hardly any work at all to reap those benefits. That is false. They're defining moderate intensity as aerobic exercise and high intensity as weight lifting and sprinting, basically. You're not going to reap those benefits from lackadaisical effort.
[–]Djakamoe-1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
"hardly any work" is vague however. I'd consider going for a long walk, or playing basketball or something a couple times a week as "hardly any work" and that is exactly what that article defines as PE.
It's not saying to get your ass in the gym and work your ass off 5 days a week to get such benefits, and that is what I think so many people are confusing.

My reasons; Testing boundaries and continually advancing upon them is fun. A beautifully sculpted human body is awe inspiring, like a sunset or blooming flower. I was physically attacked recently and I won the fight easily. It felt good to be able to physically protect myself.

You have mental problems that physical activity cannot correct.
See a doctor. Not a physical doctor. A mental health professional.
[–]tehbread3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Why do people think this way? The whole “adding /taking” years from your life argument is so fucking shallow. How about you employ some sense of logic in your life. Let’s take cigarettes for example “a cigarette takes 7 minutes from your life.” Sure it might shorten your lifespan, but the real kicker is that your quality of life is diminished. You don’t just lose those years, you also feel shitty towards the end of your life. Working out is in the same vein, so you “add two years” but the ten years before you died you didn’t need to be bound to a fucking wheel chair.
[–]Djakamoe0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
But that logic isn't verifiable. We've seen people who were considered at the pinnacle of health die early, or be forced into wheelchairs and other medical aids, at nearly the same rate as others who were not fitness focused. Quite a few studies on this actually.
The benefits of extreme physical fitness diminish with age, while the time spent achieving such things becomes more valuable over time.
But really my whole point is that this is a 100% GYOW topic. Everyone benefits from everything involved here differently.
If being a gym rat is working for you great, but it doesn't work the same for everyone and we shouldn't push everyone towards the same thing. We're all different.
[–]tehbread1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I’m not a gym rat. I haven’t been to the gym in probably six months. It’s hard to get into the routine and stick with it, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it. I don’t know what you mean by verifiable? There are plenty of studies that show benefits both mentally and physically. You can also overwork yourself and damage your body. Like most things practice makes perfect. I really do appreciate the fact that you use anecdotal accounts to disprove statistics. I had my suspicions, but now I see there is no rational debate to be had here. Carry on buddy...well until your back and knees give out, because your body can no longer support your fat ass.
"rational debate" does not include such black and white mentalities as you have stated.
There are more than 2 states of physical fitness. You can be more than just either fat or fit. Try to understand that.
[–]tehbread2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I’m very well aware, and that isn’t the point I’m arguing at all. See here you are again making wild assumptions and placing them on me. I don’t like people like you. To each their own, but stop spreading misinformation so you can feel justified by your own poor life decisions.
[–]chimingbarframe1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You understand you’re arguing with some obese p.o.s that will never stop arguing because he’s unemployed and has nothing better to do?
[–]Djakamoe-1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The exact same thing can be said about your argument.
There is no correct way. Your way is your own.
[–]scruffyshoulders0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I'm with ya. I just don't see the point in putting so much time into my body just to eke out a few more years at the tail end. I'd rather spend my free time now doing the shit I actually enjoy.
[–]richbeezy0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You’ll enjoy the years you do have more with a better mood and energy levels. I dig it, I ask myself this question often - especially when I don’t feel like going that day.
You get it.
I do it for the energy boost for my normal activities. I’ve been on and off with working out with weights, I feel miserable the periods that I don’t. I ask myself, why the hell am so tired or in a shitty mood all the time, then I realize its bc I haven’t worked out in a couple weeks or so.

Even though i am a fat man myself,i am currently working to change that and i dont expect praise or help from anyone on the matter. I train my body the way i trained my mind and i will help myself become a better man. I hope a guy who is obese like me sees this and understands that when you set the goal to change, even if you have not completed the said change, the whole mindset of how you see the world begins to swift. You control your own destiny, you cannot change the way people act or react but you can change how you act on things and understand when to take action or take a few steps back and reconfigure yourself and your beliefs. The world might not believe in you because you are a man,but i do. If you set your mindset and dedicate time to yourself with the utmost discipline while respecting your time,You will bring change!

Just cut out the carbs and you'll be fine.
[–]voiceofpersonality19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I’ve noticed carbs are a big problem for a lot of people- especially those with stubborn weight loss issues. Everyone’s body is different and for some, the typical western diet is death to their waist line. Portion size is another factor. There is a reason people in Asia are so skinny.
[–]itsforhismum10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Are asians so skinny because they eat carbs for breakfast, lunch and dinner ?
[–]voiceofpersonality1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That would be portion size and genetics. Low effort response.
[–]kriskros181 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Amen on the sugar. Tried it for a couple of weeks, felt amazing. Fruits taste so much sweeter. Then got back to living the “dream”, you know the YOLO eat sugar one🤣
Not true, I am Asian and I eat like western people, just not fat due to the exercises

I think just count ur fucking kcal intake if its above ur daily max u r gonnna get fat if is lower u r losing weight just get 1 cheap scale and track ur calories that’s it it’s so easy to eat extra portion without noticing if u don’t weight the food

Depends on your activity
[–]DeejayLuke9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It involves an entire life change. Check out the Zero app for intermittent 18 hour fasting; coupled with high intensity 45-55 minute cardio, I'm down 7 pounds in 3 weeks. When you need to eat, do so immediately after a cardio workout so it burns faster. Stay away from carbs and sugars as much as possible. You can do it, you got this.
[–]itsforhismum2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is not how the human body works
[–]wpgsae1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Doing cardio depletes your glycogen stores. When you eat carbs after cardio, your body will restore those glycogen stores using the sugar broken down from the carbs you ingest. If you eat carbs while your glycogen stores are full, your body will tend to convert those sugars into fat tissue.
[–]Geleemann-1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
High intensity or 45-55 min cardio, pick one.

Amen. I'm going through the exact same thing. A year ago I woke up to the realization that I was 273 lbs. I'm now 230 and dropping. I just got home from the gym and plan to bicycle 22 miles tomorrow, like I did yesterday. The biggest change has been my mindset.

Her: I am a bit fatty side, but I don't have time to workout etc etc.
Me: so what yo doing right now? (around 7pm)
Her: watching telly
Me: so why not work out?
Her: . . . .

Don’t even need to work out to lose weight, just change the diet from full fat soda and pizza to water / 0 cal soda and lean meat and vegetables.
It’s actually retarded how easy it is.
[–]awwwtist3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Can confirm. I haven't worked out since high school, and I weigh 2 more kg than when I was 15. BMI is also still in the underweight range. I eat lots of animal products, meat and not many veggies. (I do try to avoid soda, and I try to avoid unreasonable amounts of sugar, say a litre of cola.)
What's the secret? I don't eat like a farm-yard animal.
[–]QuasisLogic5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Thing is different foods have a different caloric density.
Smash 10 bananas, you’ve eaten 900 calories. Have a couple chocolate items, you’ve smashed 1200 cals
It’s fucking hard to eat 10 bananas...
[–]awwwtist0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
1200 calories? That's 2 big macs, a lot of chocolate!
[–]QuasisLogic1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]awwwtist0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

TL;DR, fashion models aren't really attractive to most men. Fashion is dominated by homosexuals, homosexuals don't like women who look like women. Hence the starved looking fashion models...
[–]MarkAurelios2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
it is not, because thats not how biological attraction and dimorphism work.
big is beautiful is a joke concept people have used in the past who simply where insecure and wanted to romantacize picking "targets" attraction wise they knew where low on the smv scale and thus achievable.
furthermore, it was an excuse established by people in fotced marriages married off to hamplanets. your only choice then was to rationalize some beauty into the ugly in 'some' fashion.
the only time 'big'is seen as beautiful is if it reflects membership to a high social caste, thus is tied into a high smv. thats why in ancient nobility being "chunky" was actually somewhat attractive for gold diggers because it meant you had the money to "buy" the food necessary to actually get fat. this hasnt been the case however for what, 300 + years?
thus the big/fat is beautiful thing will never take. pretty people knowing they're good looking are going to keep fucking eachother no matter the propaganda.
[–]GhostMan02141 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It's funny, because in like the 13th century in Europe, big women were the thing. It was mainly seen as a wealth and health thing. She could raise babies with them big trashbag-sized mammaries.
Of course, we're not in the middle ages anymore, and 800 years of science and medicine have gone a long way.
I wonder what would happen if everybody suddenly switched over to chunky girls. Maybe they have the whale-sized ego to account for their insecurities and make up for their lack of attractiveness.
[–]anonymaccount6665 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Maybe obese women were a thing in painting and carving 800 years ago, but i am sure normal men at this time had better boner for young, skinny women with pointy tits. This is biology, this is not a social construct: even me, since i am attracted to girls (when i was 10yo) it was clear that obese girls were ugly and disgusting, no one teached me that
[–]GhostMan02141 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Nah, you're right.
I felt the same way even when I was like 5 years old. I'm glad people don't pick on them like it used to be, but I'm also not happy we look for them and put them on a pedestal for being super sized.
I think I read somewhere forever ago in a book long lost to the abscense of my memory that one of the reasons for not liking fat chicks is that their big belly either equates to already being prego or having an illness which would prevent them from getting pregnant. Also, that the mom bod was a turn off because it means she already has some kids which would be a drain on resources and wouldn't be open for new kids.
If I could remember, I'd share the sauce. But I don't have it.
[–]Sealgrave0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's a myth, same as that people in the middle Ages didn't bathe.
The only era/civilization in which obesity was promoted I know of is medieval Egypt. See https://journals.openedition.org/anisl/3059

Speaking as a heavyset guy. Being fat is a good way to see the shallow behavior of humanity. Seriously, its crazy how differently people will treat you just because of your weight. At least I dont pretend its good for my health.

Ever since i went mgtow i dont care about what people look like. I know every man his fighting his own battle.
The gynocracy would rather have men divided and judging each other by their stupid standards.
[–]ItIsABear0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. I noticed that recently. I don't give a flying crap what other guys look like. Most men really don't care what other guys look like. But if a girl is ugly, other girls will try to make her depressed til she cuts herself.
But sure, sure, women are just as good as men. Go girl power and whatnot.
[–]Djakamoe-4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Which is exactly what OP's post attempts to do. It's quite ignorant actually.
My own way is not to spend a fuck ton of time being fit for no real reason. I've been there and I've done it, and for me... There were absolutely no benefits I could use for my own enjoyment.
I'm not saying get fat, but I am saying if this fit lifestyle ain't for you like it isn't for me then just go your own way.
Dadbod feels great to me.
[–]TheLastMgtow5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Man i agree and disagree. I understand your perspective. But to be honest, i got addicted to physical exercise very early on. And since when i was young i was basically retarded, the best thing i could do, or at least what i felt i had the most control over was basically sports.
I understand it is futile and building a body just for the sake of building it does not do anything by itself. But i cant think of anything in this life worth more. Or please tell me what else there is to it. Because i cant see it. And this has been very troubling to me at specific phases of my life where i got injured for years, and could not stay away from working out, and keep myself stable.
Therefore i believe working out is more than just a vanity thing. Working out is really the coping mechanism have for the evolutionary need of men to hunt.
Im addicted still to working out, and im afraid i cant see any other reason to live. And i say this without pretension, because i dont think this is sustainable. I have thought many times what else can i do, that would keep myself going. And i cant seem to find it, even though i have been all over the place.
All i see in this life that i have that is mine and cant be taken from me, is my body, and my mind. I want to build both, but especially my body. I want to get stronger, faster, and as healthier as possible. I want to live like this forever if it is possible.
I think if i could live forever, i would learn every single martial art, i would practice every single sport to perfection, and i would learn every single science and art there is.
TLDR: I think sports are really the best thing a man can do, or if not its within the best. And i would like to know what else there is to life, because everything else looks quite boring.
[–]Djakamoe2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's your addiction, and a coping mechanism. Your words.
Both words have negative connotation, though not neccesarilly negative.
Those are issues that should probably be addressed, as it sounds to me like you are not receiving the mental benefits so many others in this thread are boasting to get.
Different strokes for different folks, though man. I'm envious of what you claim to get out of the physical activity, but it doesn't work like that for me. Not even close.
Your way is different from mine, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Everyone should be fit don’t care if your a guy or a girl.
If your happy you do you, if you don’t stay fit in some capacity by playing sports or working out you are short changing yourself. Never justify mediocrity
If everyone is fit, then nobody is.
Being mediocre isn't a bad thing. It's not good either. That is the idea.
It shouldn't be praised, and it shouldn't be shit on. Mediocrity is acceptable, by definition.
[–]bansheeman2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
When an animal in nature isn’t fit, it dies. It’s called “survival of the fittest” lmao. The standard is fit, and yes, that’s mediocre. You can take it much further than mediocre into body building. I don’t see a reason to take it that far, but being athletic is about survival
[–]chimingbarframe2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The problem with the world is it looks after and supports the weakest in society.
We’ve got to the point where the army requirements, which are actually just basic fitness requirements, aren’t obtainable by a significant part of the population. And that’s scary

[–]WanderlustYouth1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Overweight guy here, the body positivity movement is cancerous. I’m unhealthy, I should lose weight. Most women hardly care, but there’s no reason I should be this big. It’s not “beautiful”, it’s unhealthy. I’m 26 and I have a dad bod to the extreme. I actually like bigger women, but there’s no reason we have to pretend it doesn’t go against the general/universal standards for attractiveness.

But aren't we here just like women who are disgusted at poor/weak men ? The same women who brought us to the redpill ?
The problem is that this is still paying attention to them. That's what women want: attention. If they can't get positive attention then they will take negative.
So just ignore fat women. If pressed just say "not my type" and refuse to go into detail.

Obese women will just destroy a man's knee joints and pelvic bone during sex. Too much fat between dick and pussy making it hard to penetrate obese women . And too much fat is not good for pregnancy. Obese women also consume too much making it financially burdensome on a man.
The good side is obese women make excellent life rafts in a boat emergency. They're more likely to float with all the fat containing oil on there body. They also make good pedestrian blocks against rowdy people.

She had guy that wrote to her 3 times in 2 days, she said he must be desperated so she insta blocked him. She herself only write to very handsome men that have some small companies.
Man if 2 women wanted to date you every day your standards would rise much too.

If you’re really fit, fat girls wont dare initiate anything with you. It notice they become very self conscious about their bodies.

I personally praise men of all body types because body positivity is important for not just women but all people... But go off I guess.
[–]PresumptuousLogos0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think the problem here is that men and women alike tend to think that the opposite gender thinks like them. Men forget that, compared to them, women rarely suffer from the male equivalent of ED (something that prevents penetrative, Penis-in-vagina sex), and women forget that men can't have penetrative sex with their penises unless they can get it up in the first place - which does NOT happen on demand.
The result is that you have women unconsciously assuming that men COULD have sex with fat women and would want to date them were it not for how socially unacceptable or ridiculed it would be, and you have men unconsciously wondering how a woman could even imagine them 'getting it up' for obese women, and not considering that this misunderstanding exists.
I'm attracted to a pretty wide range of bodies, even chunky or curvy ones, but past a certain point where a woman goes from chubby to feedee-sized, I literally cannot get it up for them. The thought of their naked bodies literally makes my penis shrivel up on its own and my gut turn. Honestly, I'm not shaming them - this is just how it makes me feel, and it's something I cannot control. If they say I'm still obliged to treat them like the skinnier women I'm attracted to, they're implying that I should force myself to get erect (maybe use a penis pump, a cock ring, and a chemical cocktail to keep myself erect), and fantasize about other women if necessary to achieve ejaculation.

A lot of people here are saying they would never date a “fat chick” and at the same time are saying they would never date an “obese” chick like it’s the same thing.
Fat /=/ obese
You can be fat even though you go to the gym and eat relatively healthy stuff (with the occasional treat because why not)
You can be plus size even though you have more muscle mass than someone else who is thinner.
Not all people are built the same, so healthy for someone looks like a chubby tummy or chaffed thighs, because under neath that they don’t have health issues and are healthy. For some people it’s impossible to have the “ideal” flat stomach and tigh gap, and when they try to get that they get health issues and eating disorders
However, obeseity is a health problem, and should be taken care of. No one is “healthy” when they aren’t able to walk up the stairs withough getting extremely tired, or whenever they stand they get a head rush.
Fat and thin are good, as long as the person is healthy withough health problems and is physically active
Extremely skinny or overweight is bad, because it’s unhealthy and can be signs of not being physically active enough.
It’s okay to prefer to date a fit woman, but make sure that you don’t actually mean a underweight woman.
Fit and healthy are good, blob and bones aren’t
[–]munt4life123[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
No fat is not okay. You won’t find a fat person that is healthy. You won’t find a fat person with a cholesterol panel in normal levels. Being fat itself is unhealthy, overweight or obese. Most fat people unless doing so for specific sport purposes are not fit either. Underweight is also unhealthy but often easier to fix.
If you wanna date someone fat be my guest, those are your standards not mine.
[–]Melody1950 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You didnt understand me, I don’t mean someone who is very fat, i mean someone who isn’t thin. I know people who someone might call “fat” but are completely healthy. Yeah they have no thigh gap and their tummy sticks out a bit, and overall they are “thick”. They don’t really have body rolls per say, but they are definitely not skinny or thin.
They are completely healthy and one of them used to by skinny because they were anorexic, and now they are finally recovered and healthy. All of them work out and are more active than me, and one of them actually had thyroids that caused most of their belly fat, they are going to get them taken out soon.
If you truly believe that skinny= healthy than i’m sorry but you are wrong. Yes, obeseity is not healthy, and i have already said that. But fat\=\ obese.
an example of fat is a big tummy and some fat on underarms, maybe a bit on their chest.
an example of obese is body roles and rolls of skin covering knees and an overflowing gut and permanent double chin.
Notice the difference? Just because they don’t have the flattest stomach or look like Chris Traeger doesn’t mean that they are unhealthy or obese, they are just a bit fat/chubby
Again i would like to not that i know plenty of “fat” people who are very active and eat well, they don’t have health issues and have normal cholesterol panels, they just have thick thighs and underarms, along with a bit of chub on their tum.
[–]munt4life123[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Skinny is not necessarily healthy but fat is definitely not healthy. I guess I agree with you if you eat well and exercise you can be healthy even with some extra flab.
I think my perspective is different, I’m an athlete and have a good physique so my standards are skewed so I hold higher standards

instead of shitting on people for promoting body positivity for women because men get none, why not also promote body positivity for both women and men?
How about not being a fat fuck, and actually getting to a healthy body weight by lifestyle and diet changes? Body shaming works.
